Lilian Garcia took a couple of bumps on Raw. It doesn’t seem like such a big deal after a pair of octogenarians let themselves get manhandled by the Island Boys, but this was the first time Garcia had really gotten involved in an angle. A lot of the wrestlers see her as some kind of "super-diva" who thinks she's above the business, and she's not very popular with some of the boys as a result.

 

On the replays, you could see that the bumps she took were very safe.

 

By the way, it's true that she's much hotter when you see her live.

Uh, for Christ's sake, she's a FRIGGIN' RING ANNOUNCER! She doesn't have to "care" about the business, she just has to announce the participants. Damn, the WWE must be populated by people with middle school maturity levels for stupid crap like this to happen.

 

It seems as indy wrestlers get smarter, WWE gets dumber. I've been backstage at a ton of indy events, and I've never seen stupid immature crap like this.

I love Lillian. Didn't The Kat push Lillian into a swimming pool for mistakenly calling her Miss Kitty a while back and I think Steph threw hot coffee on her one time also, so she has been involved in the action a couple of times.

The reason that Ring Announcers should care about the business is simple..

 

so they can become dedicated enough to become good announcers and always get their stuff right.

 

Lillian doesn't do that.

 

she took some safe bumps, she is not above the wrestlers. Hell, most of them might be able to top her at announcing. That's a bad sign when it comes to her skills and consistancy

The bit with the Island Boyz was dumb. It did nothing for me. They really need to have them beat up, you know, wrestlers. I know, what about Stasiak and D'lo. Well they need to beat on wrestlers who are somewhat over and those 2 are only about half a step ahead of X-Pac on the overness scale.

 

 

As pertains to Lillian, I don't give a shit if she cares or doesn't care about the business. But she should care enough about her job so she doesn't screw up as often as she does. That shows one of two things. 1) She doesn't give a flying fuck about the business and that's why she fucks up wrestlers names. Or 2) She's really fucking stupid. Either way, the news was reported by 1fucktardwrestling.com so I should shut up and quit giving any credence to what those pieces of shit have to say about anything.

I actually disagree. Deep down inside of me, some sick sadomasochistic mark for crap side of me LOVES most bits with non-wrestlers, as long as it's not too big or gross. I remember when Steph threw hot coffee on Lillian, and it made me dislike her more, and for some reason I enjoyed Howard Finkel's "heel turn" on RAW very much... poor Lillian... but I guess in the case of Michael Cole, I'm just missing something because I don't pick up on a lot of mistakes from her at all.

So what should the wrestlers be worrying about? Of course a ring announcer who does not want to take bumps. Shut the fuck up and worry about your own god damn business.

 

She is a ring announcer she did not sign on to be a wrestler so why should she have to perform like a wrestler. She proved on Raw to be willing to take a bump if need be but how often does the ring announcer need to take a bump. And where does this "super-diva" crap come from. Yeah what a diva I mean the way she is on TV all the time hogging time from wrestlers just to get her face on TV...oh wait she doesn't...or how about all of those times where she forced a writer to change the product because she wasn't happy..oh wait she didn't do that either. By my understanding a "super-diva" would be trying to get attention by any means or always throwing tantrums. How dare she not want to do something that was not part of her job description?

 

Personally I think she is an awful ring annoucer "The Allowance", "Jericho/Beniot", "Chuck O'Haire" are things that spring to mind for reasons I wouldn't be sad if she was fired, but to dump this type of crap on her is completely absurd.

The Enquirer may not be BS but it definitely exaggerates at times. They don't do it for public service for the most part, they do it to sell more copies. Agree though, that they need to fire Lillian. Fink and Chimmel are much better, except for the tuxedo match. Yuck.
