Guest NazMistry Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 Did Victoria used to be one of the two hoes that protested against the Right To Censor? She saw looks like it, and I remember that cleavage from somewhere before.
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 I'd imagine Victoria will be the middle-woman in the 'Chris Nowinski deflowers Molly' angle. ;-)
Guest permagrinning Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 why did she get slammed by so many reviews? I thought she did a great job in her match against trish. Better than so much we've seen.
Guest Flyboy Posted August 9, 2002 Report Posted August 9, 2002 why did she get slammed by so many reviews? I thought she did a great job in her match against trish. Better than so much we've seen. Yes, she did use to be a "ho". I love her work... I mean.. she's pretty damned good. Her and Trish have great chemistry... their Heat match (before the Raw one) was damned good.
Guest Dark Fusion Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Did Victoria used to be one of the two hoes that protested against the Right To Censor? Guest Vitamin X Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Not to mention she's FUKKIN HOT!!!
Guest LesnarLunatic Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 but.. will she ever bring back the Hos?
Guest claydude14 Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 she's a former hardcore champion!
Guest Olympic Slam Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 She was also part of a storyline that was never finished. The RTC put her through a table and she said she was going to sue Steven Richards or something stupid. I don't think she was ever shown on TV again after that outside of being one of Rikishi's Ho's.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I guess if we're judging on women's terms, she was decent. Otherwise, I thought she was pretty horrible. Call me when Jazz gets back, or Molly gets motivated.
Guest BigPoppaKev Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I saw some of her work in Memphis and OVW and I think she is a welcome addition to the WWE's female division. I mean she isn't going to be throwing out match of the year candidates but she is better than Jackie Gayda or Linda Miles. I know that people don't really like to watch woman matches (including myself) but what can you do. At least there is some decent matches going on. And how much Trish has improved over the last year or so is simple amazing.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I mean she isn't going to be throwing out match of the year candidates but she is better than Jackie Gayda or Linda Miles. That's not saying much. A retarded three-legged donkey on Ritalin is better than Jackie Gayda and Linda Miles.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 You know, I'll acknowledge that she's improved from being a non-wrestler to a semi-compitent wrestler. However, she's not making people care about the division (not all her fault) and really not doing much at all. The matches women put on in the WWE these days are, on a good day, bearable. On a bad day, they're utterly horrible wastes of time. The entire division is a farse. Like so many things in wrestling, the booker's need to take it seriously before the fans ever will, and promoting your champion as a virgin with a big ass doesn't really follow the guidlines of serious behavior. World Wrestling Entertainment, Fuck You.
Guest deadbeater Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Hey Ricky what is it? Are you down against the women who are working their asses off for that two-minute window they currently have on the shows, or the terrible booking? Only the Ramones can consistently do two-minute masterpieces. Many other artists need more time.
Guest LJSexay Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 They need some more dedication and support to keep the Women's division on track to being more seriously taken by fans.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Women working their asses off? Molly can't be bothered to even look like she's trying in her matches, and the Tough Enough galls can't be bothered to do anything that doesn't expose the business. Victoria "tried" I suppose, and Trish always tries, but neither are that good, the division is flawed as it is. On a show when someone is trying to make their debut as a threat to Trish, King can't be bothered to shut the fuck up and get the angle over. And then again, what does it matter? The central angle in the women's division right now is Chris Harvard trying to fuck the Women's champion with a big ass, so who really cares? It's a waste of time, an insult to my intelligence, and while I could try to appreciate these women supposedly busting their asses, I've really lost the insentive to care that much. I look at things like this, with Trish trying her damdest to be both a WWE Pornstar and a legit athlete at the same time, Fit Finlay training the women as best he can so they can look compitent, and then I see the fucking morrons booking this shit and I'm glad that they'll all be umimployed some day. What a joke.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Remember kids, its not Vince Russo who's a booking cancer, its Brian Gerwitzz
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Remember kids, its not Vince Russo who's a booking cancer, its Brian Gerwitz Amen to what you say, and to your sig. - Mike Van Siclen.
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 she's a former hardcore champion! That was a different Ho, her name was Bobcat.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Remember kids, its not Vince Russo who's a booking cancer, its Brian Gerwitzz If you mean that in a "lesser of two evils" type idea, I guess I could see your reasoning, but even then....
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 I dunno, I liked Victoria and thought her RAW debut (never saw the HeAT match, must've been the night they pre-empted the 11:00 replay for some Ozzfest crap on MTV) was excellent. Guess I need to go watch some Japanese Women's Wrestling so I can become jaded again... but yea, the women didn't kill the division (well, maybe Jackie), The King did!
Guest deadbeater Posted August 10, 2002 Report Posted August 10, 2002 Ricky, if Molly tried any harder, she would kill the other women she's helping to train. Remember, she has to make them look good. She can't do that if she squashes the other women like they are Stacy or Tough Enough Jackie. Besides, the WWE already restricted their movesets so that only Lita would be hitting a multitude of arial moves during a women's match.
Guest prez Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 A retarded three-legged donkey ....which of course is illegitimate. Because donkeys have four legs.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 11, 2002 Report Posted August 11, 2002 Ricky, if Molly tried any harder, she would kill the other women she's helping to train. Remember, she has to make them look good. She can't do that if she squashes the other women like they are Stacy or Tough Enough Jackie. Besides, the WWE already restricted their movesets so that only Lita would be hitting a multitude of arial moves during a women's match. Molly has never been too areal bound, from what I've seen. She has an excellent mat-game and if she would just "wrestle" and not do whatever the hell this current "style" she's working is, not only would it tell a better story ("Flyer Vs. Grappler", Vet Vs. Novice, ect.) but it would make the division look legit, as opposed to trying to make her seem threatening based on her "ass attack" as a finisher. If she's the champion, others should be making her look good, not the other way around. She represents the women's division, so she has a higher necesity to look strong than say, Jackie or Linda.
Guest deadbeater Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I also think Molly has the ability to squash all the other women Warrior-style. But that is not her style. She is also an on-road trainer for the women. If she squashes the people she helps train all the time, wouldn't they feel discouraged and wonder what is she teaching them for if she doesn't allow them to perform what they learn in a match? And how can we be sure that the WWE officials, upon hearing that the women's matches were the best on some cards earlier this year, did not tell the women that instead of performing like they're in All Japan 1980's, goof off a little, perform a little better than a bra and panty-match, but not way better? They did a similar thing to Mysterio. It is about the booking. This is more the reason, as I alluded to before, I believe that they should have a program in which Molly abuses Stacy inring to no end. Stacy is the most over of the women, but she is eye candy jobber. Transforming Stacy into a legitimately good inring performer by force would be one of the better angles ever, if handled right. When she was over in WCW, Molly, as Miss Madness/Mona ran interference for Savage like how Lita does for the Hardys: almost all from the air. Madusa provided the ground assault. So she does have an air attack to go along with her very strong mat game. She had to beg the WWF to get the Molly-go-Round as a finisher; otherwise she would be all grounded due to the moveset restriction. Besides, the amount of moves a wrestler can show during a match also depends on what moves the opponents can take. One can use her full arsenal on Molly (and many male wrestlers take advantage of that). Molly can only use her full arsenal on Jacqueline and probably Ivory. Back to Victoria: she can execute the moves well. Her problem is transistion. She did look tentative at times in between moves. She has to change that. Also, all the women except the bra and panty ones perform a little too workmanlike, instead of somehow acknowledging that the crowd exists during the match. That what hurt Dean Malenko.
