This link was posted in Scott Keith's most recent mailbag. It shows the earnings of the top WWE execs, including Vince and Linda McMahon.

 

In 2001, Vince's salary was one mil, with a $900,000 bonus.

 

Linda's salary was $750,000, with a $675,000 bonus.

 

Poverty sucks.

I didn't post them to show off my investigative skills, I posted them because the top four execs in the WWE earning over a million each, much of it in bonuses.

 

I wonder if anybody will get any bonuses for 2002?

When their fiscal year ends, we'll know if Vinnie gets his bonus. If you really wanted to know there financial records just call up WWE and as for Investor Relations and ask them to send you their Annual Report.

 

And I know this because I work for a company that does this to get business, so I have gone to Hoovers.com to look things up and just out of curiousity looked up WWE's records

Good question... In the Annual Report I have here on my coffee table all it shows are the company's profits and losses. I have looked over this thing completely and can't find the payroll of the talent. I suppose you could call up to WWE and see if you can get that information

Aren't wrestlers independent contractors and thus may not be on a company payroll?

 

I have no idea; just thought I'd throw this out...

they are independant contractors, hence why they dont have to get health or liability insurance when they wrestle...about the payroll thing, not sure, Im assuming they would be part of the payroll though
