Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 For some reason, I'm not looking forward to RAW this week. I'm slowly starting to resent Triple H and he's becoming as big of a bore as the UNdertaker was to me. I really can do without seeing him during every segment of the show, and I don't care about Shawn Michaels either. Their angle really doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but that's usually the case with Triple H angles. Logic ceases to exist if it can benefit Triple H and that makes any angle nvolving him difficult to watch. Let me get some things straight. NWO wants Triple H to join. NWO is dissolved, but Shawn Michaels still wants his buddy on RAW. Triple H begins appearing on RAW. Shawn Michaels is named his manager by Bischoff. Michaels doesn't want to do it. Michaels walks out. Triple H chases him down and consoles him. Triple H gives hima DX shirt and seemingly reforms the faction. Triple H swerves him by pedegreeing him. Triple H gives a long speech directed towards Shawn Michaels. During his speech, he is informed that Michaels has been attacked. Triple H begins questioning everyone and making threats. Shawn Michaels reveals that Triple H attacked him. With all of that bullshit going on, I can't help but not care what happens next. I didn't care when it started, and I only mildly cared when they reformed DX. Triple H is friends with Michaels, then enemies with Michaels, then friends with Michaels, then enemies again. That happened in what two weeks?
Guest Vitamin X Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 It's like in EWR, if you have too many face/heel turns in a short period of time, their "over" rating goes down. Right about now they've tried swerving us SO many times with HHH, that I, along with pretty much most of the fans out there, REALLY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ANYMORE. If it was all to end up with HHH turning heel, it should have just ended with HHH pedigreeing Shawn Michaels and then giving a big long speech about HBK wanting to hog the spotlight, and how HHH wants to be the man now, and how he already is. HBK says you're not the man, because he's still got soem fight left in him and even HBK at 50% is better than HHH at any given time (and since he likes those little shoot comments so much, he should throw in the fact that HHH himself isn't at 100% either). So thus we got a match with an over heel and a returning babyface, both crippled, but willing to fight each other. In my opinion netiher of these guys should be wrestling until they're fully healed and ready to go, Shawn Michaels seems like he's good to go, AS LONG as nothing acts up with him. HHH, still hasn't gotten any good matches, and these negative-star anti-classics he's wrestled on the pay-per-views are there to prove it. Ironically enough, Chris Jericho was the only guy to have carried HHH to an above-watchable match. And is it just me, or is the "UnAmericans"/Team Canada vs. USA angle REALLY boring and REALLY shitty? It seems to me that this angle is actually burying Storm, Christian, and Test more than it is giving them heel heat. Their entire agenda is based on cheap heel heat, and whilei t may have worked for Kurt Angle for a short period of time, sad to say that WCW pulled off the Team Canada angle MUCH better, as this rehash has been pure crap. So in short.. ERIC BISCHOFF = RATINGS~!
