You guys must pick up this DVD.

The extras are awesome: Hulk vs. Andre The Giant from Shea Stadium in 1980 as well as their classic WrestleMania III encounter, Hulk's debut match at MSG in 1979 versus Ted DiBiase, Hulk's guide to nutrition from Tuesday Night Titans, Hulk training Mean Gene for their tag match, Hulk and Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake vs. Zeus and "Macho Man" Randy Savage from SummerSlam, a bunch of Saturday Night's Main Event matches including Hulk vs. Mr Perfect, Hulk vs. Paul Orndorff from The Big Event in Toronto at CNE Stadium, and tons more.

The feature presentation itself is also very well done. It's not just recycled video packages and kayfabe. Hulk talks about King Kong Bundy's stiffness, Roddy Piper not wanting to job, him and Orndorff taking liberties with each other because of their "Florida boy" rivalry, his off-camera problems with Randy Savage, his relationship with Andre, a shoot match that he had in New Japan, how nobody in the WWE but The Rock would give him a chance when he first came back, and lots of other cool stuff.

Probably the best DVD of the year.

Sadly...I still give the nod to the HHH dvd.

Flair/Steamboat is so good...if it were only half as good...it'd still be *****

Is the RR 90 match clipped?

I was shocked as hell when I read the extras a few weeks ago myself. I will build a shrine for Hillbilly Jim (since I don't know anyone else who words for WWE Home Video) for helping make this happen. All hail Hillbilly Jim!

so the only thing that is clipped is rr '90?

Well, most of the entrances are cut out, and most of Hogan's pose downs are cut out as well. As mentioned, RR 90 is clipped, but other than that, every match is intact.

While the extras rule, I was bummed out that the main program wasn't as thorough. It was really focusing on the 80's, then BAM, we're on to the nWo in WCW in 1996. And as usual with these WWF/E DVD's, about 1/4 of the program was devoted to what has happened this year. I mean, the match with HHH at Backlash got more time than WMIII with Andre. There was way too much focus on the Rock match. What really bummed me out was that there was little attention paid to the WMIII match with Andre. No comments by Hogan, nothing.

But the extras are awesome, and about 60% of the main program is good too.

I might actually buy this. Will be my first wrestling dvd/ tape i get in the last year. I got rid of all my other stuff, leaving just Summerslam 2000, the Hardy Boyz dvd and best of Y2J. This will be the best dvd, bar none, if everything is as good as it sounds. Could this mean a Flair dvd set? or an Undertaker?

I can't even explain how disspointed I was to buy the thing... then figure out the Genius match wasn't on there, but it was just a stupid interview.

Actually, with Flair working for them, you might see that one. But I think we've got a better chance of getting a Bruno Sammartino DVD before the Bret Hart one.

 That was a good one with Bruno. Most of Bret's big matches will probably make it some day. Probably when they stop being lazy and release old PPVs.
