Guest GameCop Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I got to admit, my dream match would be a: TLC Match with a Hell In A Cell, + barb wire all over the cell! And the wrestlers wrestling: HardyBoys Vs. Dudleys Vs. Edge And Rhyno. And the only way to win the match is to clime and get the Belt hanging from the hell in the cell! And they tables would be stacked all outside of the ring but still inside the cell! That would be in my opinion the most leathel, best, match ever! Post in this thread what your favorite match or make believe match would be now!
Guest BifEverchad Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 *sniff sniff* smells like garbage to me. Hmmm...how about a Kurt Angle/RVD Iron Man Match?
Guest Ozymandias Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Yokozuna (it's a DREAM match, remember) v. Giant Gonzalez: 90 minute Iron Man match.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Angle and Benoit vs. Jericho and RVD in a ladder match.
Guest Kingpk Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Even better: Benoit-Angle Iron Man Match for the WWE Title at Wrestlemania X-9? GameCop: What makes you think they would be willing to have a match THAT insane?
Guest Ozymandias Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I changed me mind. A double bill: Kevin Nash v. HHH v. Shawn Michaels: Elimination Rafters Match. Same rules as a scaffold match - last man left up there (and alive) is the winner. and Big Show v. Albert v. Kane v. Brock Lesnar v. Hulk Hogan v. Rikishi v. Winner of the Rafters match: Career Elimination match - Winner gets to keep his career. The winner? The fans.
Guest notJames Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 How about a Goldberg's Head on a Pike Battle Royal where the winner gets to decapitate Goldberg and stick his head on a pike. Okay, seriously, my dream match would be Benoit vs. Owen Hart in an Iron Man match. Or any match. Or even Owen vs. Angle. I just wish Owen was still alive...
Guest Anglesault Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 All 5 Kliquesters in a quad on a pole match. The person who uses the quad to tear all four other quads wins.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 We need fewer gimmicks, not more.
Guest Angle-plex Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I think Test vs Phsyco Sid would be great! Seriously, I would say HBK vs Angle or HBK vs RVD would be my favs.
Guest DawnBTVS Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Old School ECW Rules Raven/Stevie Richards vs Tommy Dreamer/The Sandman(94/95 times) or 4 Way Iron Man Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit vs Ric Flair vs Shawn Michaels(All in Primes)
Guest MaxPower27 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Kurt Angle v. Chris Benoit v. Bret Hart v. Steve Austin (when he's motivated) v. Owen Hart v. Chris Jericho in a 6 pack challenge. RVD v. Eddy Guerrero v. Owen Hart in a 3 way ladder match Rhyno v. Arn Anderson Flair v. Savage v. Steamboat (in primes) There are more, but I can't think of any.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Ric Flair vs Steve Austin. Both in their primes. No gimmick matches just great wrestling.
Guest Austin3164life Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Ric Flair vs Steve Austin. Both in their primes. No gimmick matches just great wrestling. Austin vs. Flair in their primes. Nothing more, nothing less. Another match I've been dying to see is an Austin/RVD vs. Angle/Benoit tag team match. Personally, I would love to see this match because I've always wondered what an Austin/RVD team could do. Against Angle and Benoit, that'd be a great tag match to see. One I really wanted to see in 1997 was Austin vs. Michaels vs. Bret in a Triple Threat. That's all.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Vern stole my dream match, dammit. My second match would probably be Bret Hart/Ricky Steamboat with both guys in their primes.

Not trying to be a prick or anything, but that match would probably be the shortest TLC and/or HIAC ever since all you need to do is friggin JUMP and grab the belts...
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 It's really hard for me to think of a dream match, because this is the one thing I can't really think of. I would say that my dream match has probably already happened. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Flair/Savage/Steamboat vs. HBK/Bret/Austin: All in their primes. Best two out three falls. Hell any combination of those six in a six man tag would be enough. Or Bret vs. Flair in an Iron Man match. Scary thought: It's happened.
Guest WaylonMerciless Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 RVD vs. HBK in a Ladder Match Dynamite Kid vs. Chris Benoit vs. Jushin Lyger (all in their primes) Bret/Owen vs. Flair/Steamboat (don't ask me why...it just sounds good)
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Benoit/Malenko vs. Anderson/Blandard would be one helluva match, if it were all the guys in their primes.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Chris Benoit vs. Toshiaki Kawada
Guest Downhome Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 My dream match would be Chris Benoit Vs. The Dynamite Kid Vs. Tiger Mask I Vs. Jushin Thunder Liger in a one hour Iron Man match, with the same rules as the Iron Man match from ROH. (Those rules being two points for every pin fall or submission you get, and a point is taken away from you every time you are pinned or submitted. At the end of the hour, the guy with the most points wins the match.)
Guest Jack Tunney Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Shawn Michaels vs. Cactus Jack-Hell In A Cell Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit-Ladder Match
Guest Downhome Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 No offense to anyone, but why are so many of you wishing for a gimmick match as your "dream match"? Does the idea of two (or more) of your favorite guys just giving it their all in order to score a pin fall or submission just not do it for you?
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Because the majority of use are probably seeing these matches as blow offs to super incredible fueds (thus making them seem epic) as opposed to a RAW match that's put together at the last minute or something. Or 1) we think the wrestlers chosen can work the gimmcik to its limits and beyond 2) We want the matches as long as possible (Iron Man, 2 out of 3 falls)
Guest Downhome Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Because the majority of use are probably seeing these matches as blow offs to super incredible fueds (thus making them seem epic) as opposed to a RAW match that's put together at the last minute or something. Or 1) we think the wrestlers chosen can work the gimmcik to its limits and beyond 2) We want the matches as long as possible (Iron Man, 2 out of 3 falls) I'm not talking about Iron Man matches or Best 2 Out of 3 matches. As far as I'm concerned, those are not really "gimmick" matches. A gimmick match to me is a ladder match, cage match, HIAC, etc... That's what I'm talking about, that's all.
Guest GameCop Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Kevin Nash v. HHH v. Shawn Michaels: Elimination Rafters Match. Same rules as a scaffold match - last man left up there (and alive) is the winner. OH HELL YEAH, I should have typed that! I mean HBK and nash thats like having a civil war in D-Generation X! ~AMEN!
Guest TheArchiteck Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Any match without the dudleys is good 4 me. But I would enjoy 4 corners match with...Booker T, Lance Storm, Kanyon and Beniot.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 I don't really like threads like this, because people who fantasy book never seem to understand the concept of "less is more" and just throw in as many of their favorites into one match as they possibly can. Personally speaking, I've never found four-way or three-way matches to be very good, and six-man tags are usually all filler, too.
Guest JaKyL25 Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 The first match that came to my mind was: Ricky Steamboat vs. Kurt Angle, 2 out of 3 falls. Not sure EXACTLY why though.
