Guest Austin3164life Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 The new logo reeks of awesomeness because it signifies Summerslam in the 21st century. The old one is great and historical but the new one is hip and eye-cathing. Much like the new WM lettering they've used for 17 and 18.

SummerSlam. The new logo has grown on me, but yeah, I hate that set they've used the last two years. Personally, I liked the SummerSlam 98/99 logo best.

Why is the M stretched out so far at the top? It just used to be the bottom, etc. In terms of twists on the original WM logo though. I like 11 and 14 best.

BTW, if your looking for the font for the Summerslam logo, it's called "Cunieform" or something like that. The spelling maybe wrong. I really want to find the Wrestlemania font, too.
Guest Caliban Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 I think they stopped using Roman Numerals for Wrestlemania because they would have been pretty long. Wrestlemania XVII? XVIII? Couldn't really make a "cool" logo out of that. I hope they go back to the Roman Numerals for XIX though, that's something they can work with. And Wrestlemania 20 especially, "Wrestlemania XX"...
