Brock Face Turn

It's pretty much a given that Brock will turn on Paul E. eventually and become a face. The problem is, it's doomed to fail, for the following reasons.

1. Faces take the brunt of the punishment during a match (face-in-peril), and that would ruin the "monster aura" WWE has been force-feeding everyone.

2. Therefore, for him to be an effective face, he has to "Goldberg squash" at least a few of the top heels. Unfortunately, WWE booking has made all the heels look much stronger than the faces, making this a lot harder. This is made worse by the fact that there is only one top heel right now...

HHH.

And no way in the blue hell is that going to happen. He could only feasibly go through Benoit, Jericho, and Angle (imagine the Internet uproar over that) before being fed to HHH, accomplishing nothing.

So my advice is to keep Brock heel for at least the next year or so, until the face/heel alignments even out a little bit. We need another top heel besides Trips, and Brock is pretty much the only option.

I have to take exception to this. HHH is the ONLY heel booked strong in the WWE right now. Every other heel has to use a chair/belt-shot in EVERY match to win... hell, even Benoit had to cheat to beat RVD. When Brock wins the title on Sunday, he'll presumably only do it with a ton of interference as well. Even Brock has been made to look weak lately, having to sell superkicks from both a "cripple" (HBK), and an unover, midcard face who shoves his ass in people's faces (Rikishi). So, I ask you... where are these "heels [that] look much stronger than the faces"?

Also, I don't think Brock will be turning face anytime soon. After all, aren't most people heels when they get their first run with the belt anyway?

Get rid of Heyman and I think it would happen.

It Wont Work With Him as a Face. Hell It's hard enough for this green rookie to get over as a heel.

I think if they do the old bit where Paul E smacks him around for a few weeks...then he grabs Paul and does his "I'm doing this for me!" deal...and Paul will slap him or something...then Brock F-5s him and raises his arms...

Face

I Hope Paul E. Goes Into A Face Manager or somthing like that. Paul would be cool as a face with the PAUL E chants.

Brock shows enough promise bumping where he could pull off the face in peril.

I don't know if Brock has good enough mic skills to leave Paul E. If I were him, I would want to keep Heyman as long as possible. He's the only reason Brock is somewhat over at all.

Jason

Edit: Also, I don't think Brock has the "Benoit" presence to not have to talk, either. He looks kind of goofy without a mouthpiece, and Benoit looks like he's gonna kill somebody anyway.

Goldberg did just fine as a heel, and Lesnar is a pretty similar wrestler - with straight power moves. Both have been booked the same, both have a tremendous look - what am I getting at? Lesnar could be a face THIS SECOND as long as he dumps Heyman

Goldberg was one of the worst heels ever. He had no idea how to carry himself in the role, and the fans still cheered him anyway. If booked correctly the turn on Heyman could be a good move, but it is too early to turn him anyway.

What about the Undertaker and Kane? Both of them had successful face runs while being billed as "monsters" and neither really took too much of anyones offense.

Erm, I meant to say Goldberg did just fine as a face, not a heel. Something about power wrestlers kicking all kinds of ass gets the fans going - hence my logic Brock will be a great face.

Its scary how young Lesnar is, and how early he is getting shoved to the top. Barring injury or ego problems - Lesnar may be the most accomplished WWE superstar in 20 years time.

I'd take care of that.

JR: Brock has destroyed Angle all match! BAH GAWD! Angle is an incompetant boob! Angle is a moron! What a twit, what a dork! BAH GAWD! Wait a minute, a fan has run into the ring wearing a shirt that Has HHH's face cross out on it.... He's got a metal baseball bat, BAH GAWD, he just smashes Brock in the head. What the hell is going on? No, he's dragging Angle on to Brock! No, Angle isn't supposed to win matches! SECURITY! The fan is forcing the ref to count! NO! Angle won a matcgh, bah gawd, what are we going to do? Angle doesn't look like a tool! The WWF is crumbling!

Anglesault, you made my day.

Fo sheez,

EDIT: Of course, what if he NO-SOLD the bat, and somehow the pain was transmitted to Kurt's body?

Believe me, I'd hit him so hard he'd forget to no sell.

Damn right, Anglesault. I'd LOVE to see Angle whoop up upon his ass with furious vengeance.
