They WERE dead until the last two matches. HBK electrified the crowd and they came alive. Before that, they were sitting on their frickin' hands and popping over crowd shenanigans rather than in-ring stuff (watch Flair/Jericho again if you don't believe me). It was embarassingly silent until the end, especially Benoit/RVD. I'd never heard a silent response to a Rolling Thunder before tonight.

From the time I heard SS was going to be in Long Island, I said "That crowd will suck." Tonight, they proved me wrong. Hotter than hell for the opener (and rightly so). They stayed pretty solid for most of the undercard and they were going NUTS during the last two matches. They must have imported those people or something. Long Island crowds aren't supposed to be that good.

Can anyone clarify? You heard right. One minute the crowd were calling for Rocky's head next they cheered him. Brock was either cheered quite loudly or got no heat(entrance).

It's not that hard to figure out. Let me be the first to say........I was wrong HBK/HHH was actually good. I'm watching the replay right now and the crowd seems fine to me, but they did sound dead during RVD/Benoit. Am I the only one that thought Angle looked like a clown in his new outfit?
