Instant mark out moments/cheap pops

What are some things that could happen to pop the shit out of a crowd? Moments where the crowd just goes bonkers and blows the roof off a place. Its getting harder these days to do that.

 

Here's a few I could think of:

 

Hulk Hogan coming out to either "Eye of the Tiger" or "Real American"

Stone Cold coming back unexpectedly and when the glass smashes all hell breaks loose

Undertaker coming out in his old Undertaker dead man outfit

RVD winning the WWE Title

Goldberg coming out of nowhere and spearing HHH

And I agree with you AS, they should just randomly have Austin come back at a random show without anyone knowing. That would be so cool. Sorta like they did with Kane. I totally marked out/shocked that he actually came out last night. Perfect booking.

Nothing that isn't borderline impossible... you need to build something up so that when it happens there's a reason to mark out.

 

Sadly, this won't happen when Steph's too busy putting herself over (which doesn't get her a face reaction anyway), or while Bischoff has to guide and control every aspect of the show.

I think Bret or Austin coming back would get the single biggest pops EVER. They both could stand on the ramp and pick their nose for the better part of 5 minutes and the crowd would eat it up. Punking out Vince would only incite the crowd into even more of a frenzy.

I don't care for Austin or his character, so he can rot in prison for all I care. However, I would love to see Bret Hart come out and beat the crap out of Vince (storyline-wise, anyway)
