Guest FeArHaVoC Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 RAW Quarter Hour Ratings Show Key Signs RAW scored a 3.9 rating this week off hours of 3.7 and 4.1. Interestingly enough, the show gained very few viewers as it progressed. The first quarter hour did a 3.7 rating, while the overrun (the highest rated quarter hour) did a 4.3, a difference of only .6. Usually the difference between the highest and lowest rated segment is over 1.0. This shows that viewers, for whatever reason, did not tune in to RAW as the program went on (as they usually do). This is especially interesting considering that it was the post-Summerslam edition of RAW. Credit: 1wrestling.com
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Hmm. What could that mean!!
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP???? (Cole mode off) I was really more curious about what different angles did for the ratings, but since there was little change, it'd be kinda silly to try and figure their effect out. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Only thing I see is the build up to the Main Event lost viewers. Gee, wonder why?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Hmm..HHH vs Undertaker sucked as a PPV main event, why would it be any better as a free tv main event?? I got it! The week prior, Oblivious was on after RAW, so all the Star Trek fans who would normally tune to TNN at 11 so that they don't miss Star Trek at 11:07 didnt go this time cause they thought Oblivious would be on again after RAW. There's your .4 rating..
Guest nikowwf Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 I think it was more like hmm let me see the new champ. Hey, its HHH i'm tired of him. Oh, he punked out the new champ. Hey, Undertaker another old guy. Um, he killed both of them. This Brock is a p*ssy. And i don't really want to see HHH and Undertaker fight AGAIN. Let me watch MTV and see if that video where Britney Spears is dressed as a schoolgirl is on. Something like that. Niko
Guest D'Lo White Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Well, the 3 things they hyped the most during the show were: HHH/Undertaker match The burning of the American flag Lillian/Fink match I cannot believe these awesome events didn't bring the viewers in.
