Guest humongous2002 Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 WWE has turned into the TWILIGHT ZONE, nothing makes sense anymore, the shows get better for a few weeks and then they start tanking again after the best WWE ppv of the year, unfuckingbelievable. Why has Vince decide to give that pregnant bastard Taker another main event shot? Taker had the worst match at Summerslam, he sucked as an undisputed champ, he had the worst match of the year with Hogan @ Judgement day,and hasn't had a good match since 98. The greedy bastard has been on top for at least 10 years and what he has done for the business? absolutely nothing. He refuses to put younger guys over, refuses to stop taking the spotlight, refuses in retiring, and refuses to get off my tv. People don't want to see him main eventing again, the prove is in the ratings but Vince keeps on shoving him down our throats that we are ready to puke. So far Taker hasn't done anything to be a true locker room leader, for him the idea of "giving someone the rub" is by going over that young wrestler, because he doesn't want nobody to take his spotlight away. How is it possible that two up and coming wrestlers, true athletes like Angle and Benoit are made out to look so weak against the big HOSS Taker? It just doesn't make any sense, maybe to JR, but not to me and according to the ratings not to the tv fans either.
Guest NazMistry Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Taker had the worst match at Summerslam, he sucked as an undisputed champ, he had the worst match of the year with Hogan @ Judgement day I thought the Triple H match at King Of The Ring was worse.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Undertaker has been involved in 4 of the worst matches of the year, against Rock, Austin, Hogan, and HHH. I wish the guy would retire, his matches are offensively bad.
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Every Taker hater should Dial up 1 800 WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA BOOHOO He doesn't retire SNIFFFFF Oh I know you people Demand everyone do at least *** nightly. Just sitting here and Insulting and ranting and raving isn't gonna do anything. Undertaker still gonna be around and he still gonna get into matches going over your favorites and there isn't a Damn thing you can do about it. Because like it or not Undertaker still marketable and he can still wrestle. Its tiresome to hear the same arguements as if you had some Backstage passes and over here mutterings of wrestlers, you just repeat Wrestling site opinions and dirt sheets. Peoples opinions aren't facts. Here is a bit of Logic for you... The Only reason the Undertaker is facing Brock Lesnar is for Brock to defeat him. Cementing his stake as the World champion. Can't Just rush into Kurt Angle vs Brock, or Chris Benoit vs Brock, not if you want to make Brock's title reign convincing. Brock has to have at least a couple of months of title holding under his belt. and Beating Someone Like the Undertaker, whom on Paper doesn't Lose all that much and when he does he doesn't lose clean would be a Big Step up for Brock. But I guess thats lost on you...you want everything good NOW! NOWWWW Damn it NOW!!! We demand ***** matches from Benoit Every Match of every event or we just fold our Arms stick out our bottom lips and POUTS like Children. But thats the impression I get from these Temper tantrum Taker Hating Posts
Guest RicFlairGlory Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 You want us to get pumped up and hope for 2-star matches all day? We KNOW that Taker is going to be there. We dont LIKE that, so we bitch about it. Thats what the fucking internet is for, so eloquently, to share pornography and bitch about [wrestling].
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I hope someone reads that and spends the next month airing ZEUS vs Papa Shango or Bastion Booger vs Mantaur Matches.... and after that you will BEG for a Undertaker match BWAAHAAHAHAHAH
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Here is a bit of Logic for you... The Only reason the Undertaker is facing Brock Lesnar is for Brock to defeat him. Cementing his stake as the World champion. Ignoring the irony of your calling Taker haters children whilst typing like a five year old, Taker isn't going to do a thing for Brock. It'll be a bad match which will make Brock look bad, and there's no way Taker will lay down clean. Taker will probably win by dq or something and chokeslam Brock after the match.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Wait. You mean Brock can look WORSE than he already is? Holy crap!
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 There is some value to it. If you look at the Hogan matches with Brock obviously that did nothing for Brock Career other than On Paper letting him Beat Hulk Hogan. If you step back from the Smark Cynicism and look at if from a Old school fan, you see Brock Lesnar destroyed two Legends, Ric Flair, and Hulk Hogan so far. The way it looks it appears Brock is Tearing down the Old school wrestlers in the name of the Current present and future wrestlers. Undertaker just maybe another lamb too the proverbal slaughter for Brock. All the while continuing too build the impending Brock vs Angle match, with Angle being a face. It will take time for Angle to become face and so there is the other reason for the undertaker thrown in front of Brock, to give Angle time to turn. Some people it doesn't take to long others you need something compelling to turn the fans in the stands on your side. Hell its gonna take a while just to make them stop automatically saying You Suck during his theme hehe. so... Lets recap one theory being the Undertaker is thrown against Brock Lesnar, so that Brock can defeat another Old school "BIG" name. after Undertaker there isn't too many left in that Main Event calibur who been in the WWE so long. Theory 2 Undertaker is put in the path of Brock so Angle can develope a face turn possibly against a Heel Chris Benoit. a familar But Excellent match between the two. Which would setup a Possible Angle Brock Match two PPV's down the road. There... I pushed up from a 5 year old arguement to a 10 year old
Guest Strike Force! Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I hope someone reads that and spends the next month airing ZEUS vs Papa Shango or Bastion Booger vs Mantaur Matches.... and after that you will BEG for a Undertaker match BWAAHAAHAHAHAH Exactly. These post-1996 internet wrestling fans have no idea how bad it COULD be.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Actually Taker was the best Undisputed Champ so far. Although that isn't saying shit, but he was. He defended the title weekly, was booked to be dominant and managed to give the rub to RVD and Jeff. Too bad HHH won't let them become stars.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I hope someone reads that and spends the next month airing ZEUS vs Papa Shango or Bastion Booger vs Mantaur Matches.... and after that you will BEG for a Undertaker match BWAAHAAHAHAHAH LOL! I don't have anything to add, but that was pretty damn funny.
Guest jester Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I know that in all probability Taker is being fed to Brock (but I wouldn't guarantee it, this is WWE we're talking about), but I doubt that it will be done properly, because they won't want to damage the heat or credability of either guy. In so doing, Taker will be ok, but Brock will look worse. Consider: Taker has already give Brock a few cane shots, for which Brock has not retaliated. When interfering in the HHH/Undertaker event, Brock got sent down with a single punch from UT. HHH has graciously taken credit for softening up the Rock, causing the Brock title win. Brock has no decisive victories over anyone in the uppercard, except Rock, which is already tainted by HHH's grandstanding. Brock has required Heyman to interfere on his behalf too many times. Brock has been selling everyone's offense, down to Matt Hardy. Remember when he first appeared, and chairshots would not put him down? Undertaker would not tap out to the Ankle lock AND the Crossface...when both were on him at once. Add that all up. Is this really leading up to a shocking, clean, decisive victory over Taker? I doubt it. What Brock could use is a total, unqualified clean squash of UT with an arrogant cover. But they won't do that, because they don't want to make Taker look bad. End result: Taker loses but maintains dignity, Brock looks no better than he does now. That's my prediction.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Well, Taker is quite clever. In the respect that some people actually believe he advanced the careers of Jeff Hardy or Tommy Dreamer in any way. He isn't a good wrestler, but he is still very over with the crowd and probably sells alot of merch, and WWE is a buisiness after all.
