Guest bradaolson Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 From today's Ross Report: "Bill DeMott can be a main-eventer here with the right creative presentation and is a helluva great guy." HUGH MORRUS IN THE MAIN EVENT!!! HA HA HA HA!!!!
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Oh, Ross loves his hosses. Which would explain why Lesnar's champion, and some of these guys are on the payroll despite being utterly useless, and a waste of good air..(Bull Buchanan)
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Hmm..this is no laughing matter.. well actually, it is..
Guest cabbageboy Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I noticed that too and I thought WTF????
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Speaking of, he also said that Bull Buchanan needs more Smackdown TV time. More? Has he appeared on Smackdown yet since he returned? Nope, but that'll change next week most likely. Yay. Ross's cred on main eventers went out the window with me when he said that "we need Nash in main events soon" three days before Nash embarassed himself and the company by tearing his quad after 11.5 seconds of rigourous in-ring action, an event that resulted in the killing an entire angle. Ross's judgment calls are a little off.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 A little? This is the guy who's verbally crammed Rikishi, Bubba Ray, Bradshaw, Big Show, Albert, and Bull Buchanan down our throats. Not to mention Brock Lesnar. Ron Waterman, Mike Sanders, and EZ Money couldn't have been any worse than any of the guys on that list..and probably made less than one Hoss combined.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 One of my biggest fears is that Albert and Bull will form a tag team and jump to RAW. I don't even want to imagine Ross's commentary on their matches.
Guest Redhawk Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 "Bill DeMott can be a main-eventer here with the right creative presentation and is a helluva great guy." Yeah, like presenting him with more steroids and a big helping of Vince's nuts. Then MAYBE he'll get to the main event
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Another funny tibit was when he was talking about Mark Henry he said: "That kid has charisma. That can't be taught!" Since when does Henry have charisma?
Guest Redhawk Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Funny story about Henry: At the Smackdown taping in Seattle, Mark told Kurt Angle to follow him "down the LITTLE brick road" before their match. The interview was later re-taped with Mark correctly saying the "YELLOW brick road."
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 May I say that in that interview, his charisma was just so outstanding! I mean, if you look up charisma in the dictionary, you'd see Mark Henry's picture! (/sarcasm)
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Another funny tibit was when he was talking about Mark Henry he said: "That kid has charisma. That can't be taught!" Since when does Henry have charisma? Since when is Mark Henry a kid?
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Another funny tibit was when he was talking about Mark Henry he said: "That kid has charisma. That can't be taught!" Since when does Henry have charisma? Since when is Mark Henry a kid? Good point...
Guest Anglesault Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 And someone taught Edge and Christian charisma...
Guest buffybeast Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 One of my biggest fears is that Albert and Bull will form a tag team and jump to RAW. I don't even want to imagine Ross's commentary on their matches. I'd be very happy to see Albert on Raw and off of Velocity.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Mark Henry's charisma just oozes out, see, the "piped in cheers" are really toned down from the ENOURMOUS POPS that occur in the arena when he steps through the curtain. JR is getting kind of amusing, as most of what he talks about never actually happens, it's just to get the smarks' panties in a bunch. Bull on Smackdown?! Seeing him on Velocity is bad enough. Just rename Velocity Vel-Hoss-ity and put Albert, Bull, "Future Main Eventer" Bill DeMott and Mark Henry on there.
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 One of my biggest fears is that Albert and Bull will form a tag team and jump to RAW. I don't even want to imagine Ross's commentary on their matches. I'd be very happy to see Albert on Raw and off of Velocity. Yeah, but you're the only one.
Guest Fort Detrick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 JR's dream match: A pool of barbeque sauce with Mark Henry, Albert, Bradshaw, and Bull Buchanan wrestling in it.
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 JR's dream match: A pool of barbeque sauce with Mark Henry, Albert, Bradshaw, and Bull Buchanan wrestling in it. Thanks alot. Now I am going to have nightmares for a looooooong time. Once again, thanks
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 JR's dream match: A pool of barbeque sauce with Mark Henry, Albert, Bradshaw, and Bull Buchanan wrestling in it. With Doctor Death. Bill DeMott, Brock Lesnar, and Rikishi as Lumberjacks in Football Uniforms. EDIT: Also, it'll be in Oklahoma, with Scalded Dogs, Government Mules, and Bell's Palsy victims in the crowd. NOBODY....I mean nobody will have anchors tied to their ass. Winner gets 5 minutes with that walrus, that smelly bulbous hemmoroid on the ass of life, Paul Heyman.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Yeah, like presenting him (Bill DeMott) with more steroids and a big helping of Vince's nuts. Then MAYBE he'll get to the main event. Nah, all he has to do is see if VKM has another daughter...
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Remember in Scary Movie when Shawn Wayans dresses up his girlfriend in his football pads and then tries to ass rape her? That is so a JR joke right there waiting to happen.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 One of my biggest fears is that Albert and Bull will form a tag team and jump to RAW. I don't even want to imagine Ross's commentary on their matches. I'd be very happy to see Albert on Raw and off of Velocity. One more reason to skip Raw, but one more reason to watch Velocity and Smackdown. Nevermortal, what about all the goofy pet coons?
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Nevermortal, what about all the goofy pet coons? They'll be making cookbooks.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Bradshaw's cookbook contribution: "Fresh meat, smothered in gravy, Texas-style"
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Getting back to Hugh Morrus... I like Hugh, but to say ME material is a bit outlandish. I can definitely see him as a good mid-card guy, though.
Guest Ripper Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Hugh did get over with that stupid ass General Rection gimmick, he should be able to get over with a real gimmick.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Quoth JR: Look for deserving Bull Buchanan to receive more SmackDown! TV time soon We need to create something for Chavo who, seemingly, never has a bad match and has strong verbal skills Quote #1 makes me sad (see: ) Quote #2, however, makes me happy (me = )
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Bull Buchanan needs a serious, HUGE push. Off a *BLEEP* cliff.
