Guest AnnieEclectic Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I decided not to watch RAW, as I'm very unhappy with the demise of the HC division, but then all of a sudden in the Smarks Wrestling Federation chat, they started talking about Dreamer beating the crap out of Show with a chair in a match that possibly had a Raw World title shot on the line if Bischoff liked it. From those who saw it, is Dreamer looking like a possible push contender? I really hope so, I may even watch RAW if he does. -Annie
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Hopefully. He snapped and beat the hell out of Show with the chair.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I'm getting annoyed with this crap you guys post. "Oh, I'm not even gonna watch Raw .. but will you tell me what happened? What is going on? Is he getting a push?" Sheesh, watch the damn show, and see for yourself. If you don't like it, then fine, turn it off; but don't ask such questions. Back on topic, I hope he does get a decent push, atleast to the IC or Tag team titles.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 OB: The show is barely WORTH watching. There was two hours of crap, and three good moments. RVD kicks HHH in the head, Dreamer snaps on Show, and RVD pins HHH after the five-star. That's IT.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Did you not understand my post? Do I am to type it slowly for ya? Read it over, sir.
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 AnnieEclectic and El Psycho Diablo, I love your banners. Anyway, I hope so. Dreamer should get some sort of push. I'm not saying main event but a push would be nice. If not, oh well, it was great to see him fuck that chair up on Big Show's head, heh.
Guest AllState Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I hope Dreamer is on his way to a push as well. And while we're on the subject, its stupid to tell off posters with a simple question as what happened on Raw.
Guest TheHulkster Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Annie's banner rules, she should post in every thread. I *heart* Megumi Kudo, she's one sexy bitch.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 It would be nice to see Dreamer get pushed to at least mid card level, and hopefully, wins the Intercontinental Title.
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Yes, Megumi Kudo is incredibly sexy, and I love FMW so.... I get a lot of FMW DVDs.... as for the question, if you read carefully, I already found out what happened on RAW, as I was in chat when it occurred. The question was: "Do you think Dreamer might be getting a legitamate push?" not "I missed it, what did Dreamer do on RAW?" I didn't watch last night because the killing of the HC division pissed me off that much. If Dreamer doesn't get a push, I'm not wasting my time watching it. -Annie
Guest saturnmark4life Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I'd never give him the IC title. That would just be too far. Why the hell did they kill the HC title just after putting it on him? And then have him do harcore stuff and get DQ'd? idiotic. There was no harm just leaving the belt where it was and waiting a few months before they killed it.
Guest Ripper Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Tommy Dreamer can get over ANYWHERE with a little bit of time. If they give him time in the ring the crowds will eat him up .
Guest bob_barron Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I wouldn't mind Dreamer getting a push- he's kinda cool. I've never seen any ECW so I don't know anything about him from there
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Well, pushing Dreamer to IC level would be a pretty bad decision since it means he would have to actually leave the hardcore crap behind and actually wrestle(something he's never been good at). Without the HC Title, he's pretty much just a glorified jobber.
Guest notJames Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 I wouldn't mind Dreamer getting a push- he's kinda cool. I've never seen any ECW so I don't know anything about him from there He was okay back in ECW. His best stuff was obviously with Raven. His wrestling was watchable, but the overly done hardcore spots got on my nerves, especially the eternal "crotch myself on the railing" spots. His whole underdog, "take it for the company" schtick got pretty boring after awhile. Especially when he'd give those "I'm not here to cut a babyface promo" babyface promos. I think his main problem was that ECW just didn't have any good top performers for him to wrestle with or against once the talent raids started. They kept him away from RVD (who was the drizzling shits before he learned to stop posing for 10 minutes and actually wrestle), so all he had around him were guys like Sandman, Justin Credible, and the Dudleys, where they would brawl for 20 minutes, bleed all over each other, then hit their finishers out of nowhere. He looked great against some of the newcomers (CW Anderson sticks in my mind), but that's not too hard when you're a big fish in a small pond. Now he's a broken down lowcarder (did you see how he limped into the ring last night?) who might be getting a sympathy push based on his past and his reputation as a company man. Hmmm, sounds like a lot of guys around here. Too bad he didn't get his start in Connecticut... he might be main eventing by now. (Don't get me wrong. I like Tommy Dreamer the character and Tommy Dreamer the person. Seems like a genuinely nice guy and it would be nice to give him some kind of run. But his hopes for a real push set sail when his spine turned to shit. No sense clogging the ranks with the walking wounded if there are other guys who can run with the ball.)
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 With RAW's upper-card in a state of disarry I would look to see guys like Shelton Benjamen debut, and see guys like Dreamer racheted up the card a bit.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Dreamer with that crazy look and the chair reminded me of Steven Richards just a few months back when he was holding a chair and acting like it was his God. I wouldn't be surprised if they turn him psycho or join Raven's new Flock.
Guest RazorxEDGE Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 If Dreamer doesn't get a push, I'm not wasting my time watching it. If you don't watch the show for yourself, I'm not gonna waste my time filling you in.
