Guest goodhelmet Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Triple H was interviewed by the Cedar Rapids Gazette as part of the hype for the house show WWE is holding in the town on Sunday. Triple H commented on a variety of topics, including the WWE schedule, the separate rosters, and his relationship with Stephanie McMahon. Triple H on the worst part of working for WWE: "The non-stop schedule. It's like a rock band that never stops touring for eight years. Working on no sleep. It's a very physically demanding business. There is no 'second string.'" Triple H on Raw and Smackdown having separate rosters: "It's very good for the company in the long run. It has more openings for more stars. From an exposure standpoint, it's better for the talent. Scheduling-wise, it's not any easier. There's still a lot of events." Triple H confirmed that he is still dating Stephanie McMahon. When asked what he looks for in a woman, he responded: "You want someone who's in shape, but it's the personality. When you're old and wrinkled, you're going to want good personality around." Triple H listed Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat as the best match he's ever seen, and also played name association. He referred to Rock as the "ultimate entertainer," and said Kurt Angle is an "incredible athlete, a sponge for the business, soaking it all up." Triple H referred to Shawn Michaels as the "greatest pure athlete in the business," Undertaker as "the ultimate professional," and said Rob Van Dam has a "unique style, very agile."
Guest NoCalMike Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 I wouldn't say HBK is the greatest "pure athlete" ever in the business.....

I don't see how there are many openings for new stars when HHH is taking up every segment on Raw.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 I wouldn't say HBK is the greatest "pure athlete" ever in the business..... No, it's Billy Gunn, silly.
Guest chirs3 Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Damn it, Mulatto Heat beat me to it.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 He didn't bury RVD? This makes me so optomistic. If they'd asked about Jericho he'd have said "not quite good enough to be a top guy" or something like that. WOOOOO!!!!!!!
Guest nikowwf Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 He kind of buried RVD, i think but maybe i'm reading too much into it. He called Rock a great entertainer, Angle a great something (I don't remember but he also called him a sponge which I thought was funny even though he meant it in a good way. I can see it in the meetings. THAT SPONGE SHOULDNT BE WORLD CHAMPION.) He then called Rob "athletic" Niko
Guest BionicRedneck Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Hehe, Yeah it was like: Rock: Great entertainer Angle: Great athlete RVD: Can jump high
Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 RVD: Can jump high And can get high too. Oh Hoo Hoo I'm so funny
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 The Rock: Great entertainer Angle: Great athlete RVD: Very agile Jericho: Who?
