Guest Vern Gagne Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 The choices would have to be HHH and Undertaker. For me it's Undertaker. He's remained loyal to Undertaker for 11 years. HHH is dating Steph, so he's definetly got pull.. but what happens if HHH and Steph break up. HHH could be returning alot of jobs if that happens.
Guest MrRant Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Depends on who is making him the most money.
Guest TakerGirlLA Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I would have to say Taker too, mainly because he's been around so long and is so loyal to VKM. There are times when I question that loyalty and consider it to be blind stupidity, but he is true to the company. And slap me around if you will, but I don't see HHH wrestling Matt or Jeff or Tommy Dreamer or anyone like them any time soon.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Two words. Brock Lesnar. Why else give an unover Vanilla Hoss the belt?
Guest midnight_burn Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Either Taker due to the loyalty thing, or someone like Brock Lesnar so Vince can realise his big man fantasies every week.
Guest humongous2002 Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 He's got a hard on for Taker for some reason it might be because of loyalty but the brooklyn brawler has been there longer than anyone and we dont see him winning any WWE titles.

Oh come on. He got a "push" that far outstripped his ability. Even got heenan as a Manager. Vince has taken care of Steve.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Vince's "guys" will always be the one that a) make him tons of money, b) are loyal to him and have been around for a long time, or c) both. I'd say the list would include The Undertaker The Rock Steve Austin HHH Big Bossman Billy Gunn plus probably some others I'm forgetting.

How then does one explain the excommunication of the Hitman when several on the list have transgressed worse against the "Pope" of the WWEeeee?
Guest Brian Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I don't attribute anything to Brock. They went too hard with his push and once they got so far (Venegance), they had no choice but to center things around him. Undertaker's loyalty and HHH's pull, but the real winner is Steph. Why is she still running things?
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Agreed, it's all about Daddy's little girl. I mean, she's writing?? Not even Shane has that kind of pull with his pop.
Guest papacita Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Well, considering that Shawn's been getting paid since 98 just to sit on his ass and do nothing, I'd say him.
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 That is also a good point, but then again.......some could argue Stephanie is getting paid for the same thing, heh.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Vince is the world's biggest Taker mark. I bet when they have meetings UT sits at Vince's desk and Vince sits on the other side saying "yes sir".
Guest tombstone Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 HHH cause of Steph and cause he's a musclebound freak. UT for lyalty and cause he's a big man. Rock cause he makes VKM a LOAD of money and does exactly as he is told. Anyone below that is under threat. Oh yeah, and Vince is still a Hogan mark, but In think Austin's burned his bridges.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 I read last year sometime on one of the dirtsheets that Angle was Vince's fav. At the time, the booking committee was made up of the following (favs I remember listed next to them). Steph: HHH Vince: Angle Gerwitz: Rock Hayes: Hardyz There were a few more but I cannot remember them.
Guest Strike Force! Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Right now, I think it's Lesnar. 411wrestling is saying that the reason for Undertaker's Superman push is that it'll mean more when Lesnar beats him.
Guest Angelus Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Shawn Michaels is McMahon's version of Tyler Durden
Guest Brian Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 "Right now, I think it's Lesnar. 411wrestling is saying that the reason for Undertaker's Superman push is that it'll mean more when Lesnar beats him." Building up people though is no big deal.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 Eh, I think people overrate Undertaker's "loyalty". Only reason he never jumped was because the Undertaker gimmick is all he had/has and he wouldn't draw jack without it.
Guest Brian Posted September 12, 2002 Report Posted September 12, 2002 That's true, but I think Vince still holds him in high regard because he didn't leave.
