Shit, opening matches is not the issue, if you want to talk to us like we can only understand you if you draw it in crayon, why dont you try to clarify on IMPORTANT issues, like A] Does a double-main count for both matches, B] Does a match like Rock/Hogan or HBK/HHH (which got the most hype for X8 and SS2k2) qualify as the headliner, even if the less hyped, less important title match came afterwards

I was only kiddin' around with my good buddy Bif Everchad (we hang around in real life). For some reason I thought RicFlairGlory's post was Bif's too, so I ripped on that for a laugh. Just to clarify, to simplify this, I meant the main event to be the last match, as that is what it purely is. Sometimes they give guys a doulbe main event just to make them feel important (ie. Hogan at 9). But the heart of the matter is that the main event is the last. And it makes this list simpler.

If you ask anyone what the Main Event of Survivor Series 91 was, they'll say Hogan Vs the Undertaker for the World Title...but if you recall, the final match on that card was actually Bossman and LOD Vs the Disasters and IRS. Then you have a situation like Rock/Hogan, which, despite not being the last match on the show, *was* the most heavily hyped, which in my opinion, only solidifies the match's main event status.

But the fact that HHH vs. Jericho was the last match on the card AND the title match should make it the main event. And for argument's sake, Hogan vs. Rock was NEVER called the main event. At least I don't think so. So I guess the simple answer is that there is no easy solution to this question.

The advertised Main Event for Hardcore Heaven 1999 was Taz-Candido but it was the opener and it closed with Taz-Buh Buh Ray Dudley? I know they had to have a few instances in WWF like that.... What about WMIX? The "Main Event" was Hart-Yoko but Yoko-Hogan was the last match...Same with KOTR 1993...Yoko-Hogan was the advertised Main event but it was in the middle of the card.
