Guest nikowwf Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 We get a womans title match and no rey match? What the fuck is up with that? Niko
Guest AndrewTS Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I guess not...damnit, where is my Noble/Rey fued? Unless they throw it on there on Sunday with no building other than his involvement in the mixed tag match.
Guest HartFan86 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 *pounds head off wall* Damn, the WWE is so depressing to watch....ugh...this doesn't help it anyway either. I feel like crying on how bad this product is.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 what if the day after Unforgiven the product was magically good, and all the problems were fixed (better wrestling, Lawler gone, etc) all in one show?
Guest AndrewTS Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 what if the day after Unforgiven the product was magically good, and all the problems were fixed (better wrestling, Lawler gone, etc) all in one show? The next week it would all be gone.
Guest deadbeater Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 And what is wrong with a women's title match? They'll put up a Cruiser match soon, relax.
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 They got Velocity to Promote the Smackdown based Match of Rey and Noble. they have like a One match buildup this is sad fokes the Cruiserweight division is slowing back down to the Crawl when Essa Rios came along and defeated Gillberg after his year plus of running around the Indi's with the WWF Light heavyweight title.
Guest Brian Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Ehh, you could look at it that way, but there's never really been any momentum in the division anyways. Hardy, Helms, and Moore are getting TV time. Chavo is. Rey and Knoble are. That's a whole lot better than it used to be.
Guest Trivia247 Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 problem is like on Velocity the "C" team wrestlers like the Cruiserweights of Kidman, Tajiri, and Funaki seem to be stuck wrestling Heavyweights like Awesome and or Albert for some God Awful reason. like a bunch of filler matches between SHILL segments.
Guest Olympic Slam Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I'm guessing they'll have a cruiser title match either on the Heat pre-show or at Unforgiven. I'm not holding my breath as I just can't see Rey winning the title with so little build-up.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I'd imagine they'll put the match on the card and Rey will take the title as I think his heavyweight push is pretty much over (hey it went longer than expected) Unless Jamie is going on a Dean Malenko 2000 run of defending the title once evry month on Heat
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I like Rey, but if they do add a Rey/Knoble match for Unforgiven, I don't want them to do a title change. Give them 10 minutes (minimum), and have Knoble go over via interference from either Tajiri or Nidia. Then, you can either feud Rey w/ Tajiri, or Rey w/ Knoble.
Guest nikowwf Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 My point is for our $34.95 they dont give us a cruiser match but they give us a womans title match that has occured on Raw 6,045 times. Why not have a cruiser 6-way for 1st contender or anything like that? Why Trish / Molly? I feel like this is a total f*ck you from the WWE. Considering everything they have done that hasnt set me off yet, I think this is pretty bad. Niko
Guest notJames Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 If I remember correctly, next week's SmackDown is in San Diego (area code 619). So they might do a title match then. Yeah, it sucks that there's no cruiser action on the PPV, seeing as how there's only seven matches announced (I think). But you know, they need all those extra precious minutes so that Bisch and Stephie Mac can get themselves over at the expense of the real talent.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 No Mysterio vs. Noble at Unforgiven???? Damn, that sucks. Oh well, look on the bright side. Hopefully after Unforgiven, the WWE starts up a Mysterio vs. Noble fued, which leads into a match at No Mercy for the Cruiserweight Title. I'd prefer a buildup to a match rather than a match that gets thrown on the card at the last minute.
