Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 The latest on Hulk Hogan is this. Hogan and WWE had a falling out dating back to the WWE tour of Australia. Hogan wanted extra money to work the show, WWE didn't want to give it to him, so they pulled him off the card. WWE publicly stated that Hogan couldn't work the Australia tour because of a bad back. This upset Hogan who thought WWE was portraying him as an old man. The plan for his return right now is to bring him back before the end of the year. He could feud with Brock Lesnar since Lesnar was the one who beat Hogan during his last appearance on WWE TV. Credit: 1wrestling.com
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Yeah, just what Brock needs, a feud w/ a 50 year old who can move 1/4 speed on a good day

Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 Why the hell does Hogan have to come back? And more importantly, what will a feud with Brock do for either man? I thought Hogan didn't have any "political pull" anymore and that "get the job back" stuff won't happen anymore...
Guest the pinjockey Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I seriously doubt that if Hogan feuded with Brock he would get his job back. If Brock gets pinned by then maybe Hogan beats him in a tag match before getting squashed again, but that is the extent of his comeback I would imagine. I don't really see what the point of squashing him again would be though. He already beat him and by the time Hogan would be back Brock would have gone through enough people where noone would buy Hogan as any type of threat.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 I was thinking that Hogan's first fued back could be against Lesnar for the WWE Title. By then, Lesnar would have gone through enough superstars, that nobody would think that Hogan could beat Lesnar. Then, the WWE could have Hogan beat Lesnar, and win the WWE Ti....Never mind. In order for Hogan to beat Lesnar, there would have to be a different WWE Champion.
Guest Brian Posted September 20, 2002 Report Posted September 20, 2002 If it's over the title, Hogan's not getting his job back (and it probably is).
Guest Dmann2000 Posted September 21, 2002 Report Posted September 21, 2002 The only reason to bring Hogan back is for him to fued with Vince McMahon. That is all
