How much does Brock make $$$$?

Since he is technically a "rookie" and the champion, do you'll think he is making the big bucks, now? High six figures? Or a million dollars a year?

Too much.

There was just recently an article. I think it's close to a mil.

Even though he's champ, I doubt he's making as much as upper mid-carders like Edge or Kane. At least not yet.

He may make more money than Triple H!!! Is this possible?

I'm telling you, some Minnesota newspaper just publised his salary, and it's some absurd number.

That number still doesn't make sense, since he's still under a developmental contract unless he got it re-worked.

It's because he's the current World Champion, I believe.

That still sounds strange for them to structure in a bonus of one million dollars into a dvelopmental contract. I mean, the other cast of characters are still earning high end developmental prices, like 100,000 a year.

So, if he got a $1 million bonus for being champion, what if he loses it, tomorrow? Does he still get the same money? Also, wouldn't you have to be champ for a year, to get the $1 million?

It was on here a while back (after SS) and I'm pretty sure it's 1.2 million.

None of the other developmentals were given the Push from Hell and handed the World Title, either..so it makes sense they'd make much less.

I'd assume. Unlike Rock/Austin..some guys aren't popular enough to make that much on merchandise alone.

Yes, his base salary is $1.2 million, plus money from house shows and merchandise.

The number of $1.2 million that was posted here was supposed to be an estimate by Brock himself of what a champion can make in a year, and not a guaranteed figure, I believe. One would assume that this would be pro-rated over how long he's got the belt.

I wonder if HHH also being "champion" would factor into this, though I don't think WWE could legally use that as an excuse to reduce Brock's pay. But there's no union, and he's a rookie who probably wants to stay on management's good side, so who knows.

Didn't Lesner say in some interview (possibly on Confidential) that he gets like 500K more because he was champ? Or did I just imagine that?

?

The article in question was a friend of Brock's saying the WWE title was worth $1.2m to him a year - that is - if Brock had it a year that is what he would make.

That is not what his contract has in it NOW and I would imagine (complete guess) his base is around the $350k area.

yes, champions do get paid more. not sure how much though.

A lot of the times dealing with champs it depends on the situation they're in. Rock and Austin both got a 1 million dollar bonus JUST for WrestleMania 17, because of the ppv buyrate.

I don't think Lesnar so far has ever garnered that kind of a bonus, though I could be wrong.....

That would be damned hard considering that if he was champ for a year, there would be no WWF.

You really think Brock will sink the ship? You're more crazy than I thought.

He sure as fuck isn't helping anything. They are already on a downward spiral, and a year reign from TUW would be the Death null.

RAW's on a downward spiral. SmackDown's healthy. Heck, it may not be Brock's fault (and it probably has more to do with the quality of wrestling and storylines focused around it), but he's not turning people away, like everyone else before him.

So people are tuning into SD to see Brock. Not Angle or Benoit or Eddy, because after all, they're small. Thank You, Mr. McMahon. Brock is simply riding on the coat tails of the good wrestlers. Take away the amazingness of benoit and Eddy, and I gurantee you Smackdown is in the shitter.

No, because we still have mini fucking Benoit, Ta-ji-ri, Rey Mysterio, and Kurt FREAKING Angle.

You would exhast the combinations of Rey/Tajiri/Noble pretty quickly, Angle is a bit above the level, and he can't do the carry job that's needed for everyone else on the roster.
