I'll just watch it Thursday having Edge-Angle and Rey-Benoit as (I would assume) the two MEs should make for yet another solid Smackdown this week. Plus I'm interested to see where the tag tourney will go (hopefully Eddie and Chavo as champs). Not sure if they will announce pairings tonight but I read in the Observer this week that there was a big push to turn Benoit and Angle into a tag team, presumably for this tournament. How cool would a Guerrerros-Benoit/Angle final be?

So if they're serious about pushing Edge, they have to put him with a guy who looks like a main eventer. Angle is the only heel right now other than Brock on SD that is being treated like a main eventer...and Edge isn't ready for the World title yet. So, not that I want to see Edge as a main eventer or anything, but if the WWE really does, then Angle is the best guy to put Edge with right now.

And look how well THAT worked out.

As a matter of fact, I see no signs of ANYTHING going right at this time. So I've decided to just give a f*ck about angles and pushes, and just look for the good matches, look for the gold in the pile of feces that is the WWE for the past months. It's going to be a long time before WWE is back on track, so I'll take a match the quality of Angle/Edge whenever I can get it, same for Benoit/Myserio. Because, in the end... ...the matches, well, that's about all that even matters anymore.

As for the title hunt thing, 1) they're saving Angle for Brock, and 2) you said so yourself, AS, that you didn't want Angle to be fed to Brock.

He made Hogan, Rock and UT all tap (not during matches, but that's a hell of a lot more than most guys get) at sometime or another on the way to Vengeance. I think that makes him look credible enough to consider him as being in the hunt.
