We could add a cruiserweight match, but that seems to be UNALLOWED by the WWE. Niko

I firmly believe that Angle and Benoit will advance to the finals, only to loose due to arguing. It only makes sense that would happen, as it only helps get more heat on them for the blowoff match at Survivor Series.

I said this eariler, but I predict HBK will come down, interfere and cost the title for Hunter setting up there 2nd match at Survivor Series (HBK's last apperance in MSG). hHh wins there (destroys him), HBK comes back for the 3rd time at Mania in front of god knows how many people in Seattle, beats HHH, retires. THAT is the way to end a carrer.

Guest humanoid92 Posted October 5, 2002 Report Posted October 5, 2002 I see the card shaping up something like this: Brock vs. Taker HHH vs. Kane Flair vs. RVD Jericho vs. Booker (was hoping this would originally be for the IC Title) - That much is obvious. I think we'll see the rest of it go like this: Los Guerreros vs. Angle & Benoit - It wouldn't make sense to blowoff Benoit/Angle so quickly. I'm tired of stale feuds that all follow the tired formula of one guy wins the first month, second guy wins the next month... and that's it. Wow, some feud. This one is telling more of a story. And even though the finish here is predictable (one of two possible outcomes: either Angle & Benoit lose due to miscommunication or they win despite it and have to co-exist as a team), this does two things- hold off Benoit/Angle for at least another month and provide us with a hell of a wrestling match to establish these new Tag Belts as something special. Matt Hardy vs. Edge - With Brock as the clear #1 heel on Smackdown, Benoit and Angle playing tweeners and Eddie now in a tag team, it's time for Matt Hardy to move up to a higher heel slot on the card by actually doing something in the ring. Edge has been the hottest babyface on the roster, so if they started a brief program between these two, it would make a lot of sense and provide a more than solid undercard match. Rico vs. Goldust - Wouldn't be wise to hot shot a match for Rosey and Jamal at this point, since they're going to have to be careful about which tag teams they use against them (since there are barely any to throw them in there against), but their little mini-stable should still be represented. Goldust (along with Booker) has been very anti-Bischoff and anti-this group. This one shouldn't be hard to write at all, and Dustin should do a great job of making Rico look good. Jamie Noble vs. Rey Mysterio - Basically filler. But good filler. The lack of depth on Smackdown leaves nothing for Rey to really do. But stick him in there with Noble (not necessarily for the Title), basically the only heel left on that roster with credibility), and they'll get a good match, and a good way to put Rey over. I could see a Trish/Victoria women's match being added instead of (or in addition to) this one. That's what I'm thinking/hoping we'll see anyway. Thoughts?
