Guest bcu1979 Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 In the latest Wrestling Observer, Meltzer mentions that Vince has spoke out in recent meetings about wanting agents and creative to come up with new concepts and ideas. He doesn't want anymore rehashing of old storylines and ideas. But I guess Triple H storylines are exempt from that clause since they're going to drag out the Four Horseman once again to feed what's left of their legacy to Triple H's ego as well. This of course follows the attempt to turn Bubba Dudley into the charisma free version of Dusty Rhodes.
Guest The Superstar Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Steph: "Maybe we can have Kurt Angle droning on in the ring with another boring promo, until Edge drives into the arena in a SODA truck! And he'll start spraying Angle with a SODA HOSE! And then Michael Cole could scream about how "Soda-mania is running wild!" and how "SODA RULES!" then Edge can call Angle a dork! Vince: "Steph! How do you keep coming up with all these new and cutting edge ideas? Great job!"
Guest razazteca Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Bubba needed a strong southern accent, the studder could of worked instead but repeating history is not always a good thing
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 6, 2002 Report Posted October 6, 2002 Only thing I want to see "rehashed" is the Dudley Boys. Get Buh Buh away from the singles.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 7, 2002 Report Posted October 7, 2002 Here's an idea for Raw: push the guys w/ talent that the crowd wants to see, like RVD, Booker, Jericho & Helms (to name a few). Not a dancing camouflaged fat guy, or "through hellfire & brimstone it's a breakdancing freak!", or "better wrestler than Thesz, better looking than George Clooney" Randy Orton.
