Guest NoCalMike Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 During the tag match, Taz said he would love to see Rey vs. Tajiri "that would be off the hook" Well hell yes it would. That has been my dream match for a ppv ever since Rey signed. I just pray that it happens sometime soon, and is built up nicely.....Would be nice if they get into a feud and keep it going for awhile, like a best of seven fall classic series or something.....I like the whole, Japanese Buzzsaw vs. Lucha Libre storyline, and it could play out nicely that they have a similar, yet very different (at the same time) style......ok whp am I kidding, because knowing Vince, they will wrestle once, for 3 minutes, and be told to "slow it down" for Triple H's sake.....
Guest art_vandelay Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Rey's second match in the WWE was against Tajiri. It was reaaly nothing special, although the match's only purpose was to showcase Rey.
Guest nikowwf Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 I was thinking the same thing when Tazz said that. They already fought, and it was nothing special. SInce then Tajiri has been super job boy for some reason I can't figure out. Hell, this is the Heyman booked show now and Tajiri is still jobbing. NiKO
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Remember when Tajiri first came in? He had enormous pops every time and I think he was in even in a couple of main event 6 man tags on Raw. Then during the Invasion angle, it all went to shit. WHY?! Probably because he's small and he's Japanese.
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 well maybe he was saying PPV match wise Rey and Tajiri could bring out the "A" game at the PPV make it look like the Tajiri vs Super Crazy of old.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Rey v. Tajiri was pretty awesome- they gave it like 8 minutes and it kicked ass
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 Tajiri needs to be built up before he even gets invited to sit backstage during a PPV. Lets see the Noble/Rey feud most been waiting for. Then in the mean time build Tajiri up for the #1 Contendership.
Guest cabbageboy Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 For anyone who has seen Tajiri in ECW you realize he does not even half of his wild stuff in WWE. I dare say his matches with Super Crazy influenced an entire generation of indy cruisers. Without those matches (a sort of wild blend of hardcore, Japanese, and Lucha styles) would the X division be around today?
Guest razazteca Posted October 11, 2002 Report Posted October 11, 2002 well without Rey Misterio Jr there would be no Vanilla Midgets period, as Misterio was in the 1st wave of the mini me invasion in ECW, when Rey, Juvi, Psicosis, Konan were doing crazy Mexican Deathmatches. Tajiri as great as he is, works best with Luchadores, wheither it be Super Crazy, Psicosis, or Rey Misterio Jr. If the match up of Rey vs Tajiri can get 15 minutes they can work a show stopper. Damn I just imagine how Rey could reverse the Tranajula into a flying head scissors or how Tajiri could block the 619 and turn it into the Tranajula.
