Guest BaldFish Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 As much as I hate to say it, the ratings went up after the murder angle began. With Kane/HHH as the ME. With RVD doing nothing. Guys, it sucks to admit it, but evidently, this is what the marks want--cheesy soap operas and hosses. So now what do we do? Just watch the CW and midcard?
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 You guys are getting all bent out of shape over a 0.1 increase! So what? That's barely significant to what "the marks want". I don't care if I'm the only person in the world that thinks this, but I'd rather kiss Vince's ass myself before supporting a show that has angles centred around necrophelia. Oh, and RVD "doing nothing"? Wasn't he in the ME last night?
Guest The Electrifyer Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 RVD still gets huge ass reactions. If they combine him and a silly storyline angle, maybe there ratings will go even higher?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 You know... I found a tape of SD! from the show before HHH's return the next week... RVD teamed with Edge against Angle and Jericho. (Yes...the announcers will still talking about the RVD/Jericho feud that would mysteriously vanish the day of HHH's return with RVD facing Test instead...) Anyway... I think we all take for granted how over RVD was at that point in time. It was disgusting. Fans couldn't care less about Edge in that match, or Jericho or Angle. RVD was the most over guy in the company. And they depushed him the very next show. RVD is still over...and still more over than most...but he has nothing on back then. Of course...there are far less people in the arenas now... I wonder why?
