Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 As someone pointed out...the Rebellion card shows that SD! can carry it's own ppv worth watching. So...Try and make a RAW card that you would pay money for. You can't put down the finishes...since you don't know going in. Matchups only.
Guest Brian Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 It depends how much time I'm given. The roster at the moment isn't in the greatest of shape, but given some of the injured guys in health, Austin back, and the new cruiser signees I could pull it off. There's something decent there but there's not any depth because of the writing.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 HHH © vs. RVD Booker T vs. Chris Jericho Lance Storm vs. Hurricane Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven William Regal vs. Chrisian Chris Nowinski vs. Al Snow Trish © vs. Molly Holly Bubba and Spike vs. Rico and Steven Richards (I had to put them in somewhere) Batista vs. Jeff Hardy (heeheehee) No ppv for Kane or Big Show. Dlo can face Goldust on Heat. You know...I'd watch this. And yet...RAW can't put on anything
Guest the pinjockey Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Jericho vs. RVD Booker vs. HHH Molly vs. Victoria vs. Trish Lance Storm vs. Hurricane Raven vs. Tommy Dreamer Christian/Rico vs. Spike/Jeff Big Show vs. Test vs. Kane vs. Bradshaw (collapsing arena match) Good lord that is atrocious. I do not think there is a raw PPV I would pay more than five dollars for.
Guest Brian Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 They actually have a decent roster. But they lack the booking behind them. Think about getting Rhyno and Kanyon in a few months and possibly getting Austin back to make that one or two big jobs he has in him.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 No...I'm serious... if my RAW show up there was No Mercy I'd buy it.

Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 17, 2002 Report Posted October 17, 2002 Hmmm, a lot harder to do than with Smackdown. You know, the fact that Smackdown is missing the Rock and is still a lot better speaks volumes. Can you imagine how good Smackdown would be with say, Rock vs. Angle and Benoit vs. Guerrero rather than those guys all in the same match every week? Anyway, RAW PPV: HHH vs. RVD, RAW Title. HHH is the title holder and top heel, while RVD is the top face on RAW, easy match to set up. Jericho and Christian vs. Booker T and Golddust, Tag Titles. Jericho and Christian make a good heel tag team, while I like Black Gold a lot better as a team than as singles guys. Kane vs. William Regal. Maybe Regal could get a good match out of Kane. Kane's best work has certainly been with Angle, and Regal can do a similar style. Nowinski and Snow vs. Tommy Dreamer and Bubba Dudley. N&S look like they will be joining forces in the near future, while Dreamer and Dudley would probably make a decent midcard tag team for them to beat. Trish vs. Victoria, women's title. They are already building to it, and it hasn't been done as much as Trish-Molly. Jeff Hardy vs. Rico. This was basically booked by the "which midcarders who regularly appear on RAW" method. Hurricane vs. Spike Dudley. About the closest one can get to a cruiserweight match on RAW. Big Show vs. Test. Throwaway big-man match to fill out the card.
