Guest BillyTheStud Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 http://www.rajahwwf.com/wwf/headlines/4726.shtml Triple H was featured in a recent edition of Flex magazine, and said he will probably retire from the ring in five years, due to all the injuries he has suffered. He said, "I won't retire from the business though. Even now, I'm very involved in the production side of our industry, so when I stop wrestling, I want to be more involved behind the scenes. Pro wrestling is a life's passion for me."
Guest CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 If HHH and company keep things going the way they are now, there won't be a company left for him to retire from.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 *More* involved behind the scenes? Yikes!
Guest Repo Man jr Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 *Life's* passion? Double yikes!!
Guest kindredone Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 If HHH and company keep things going the way they are now, there won't be a company left for him to retire from. lol, sad, but maybe true
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 So, that means that HHH will be the new owner of the WWE when he retires. Damn, he'll be worse than Vince.
Guest alfdogg Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 Hunter won't be able to make it five more years with all the injuries he's suffered. Hell, he practically runs the company now as it is, he may as well hang it up now.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I'll make sure not to watch wrestling 5 years from now.....
Guest buffybeast Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 HHH won't be working for the company at all if he does not marry Steph. If they break up, he's finished.
Guest snowfan Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 HHH won't be working for the company at all if he does not marry Steph. If they break up, he's finished. I think Crips will try to get over in NWA TnA by sleeping with Jeff.... seems to be his MO....
Guest Banky Posted October 21, 2002 Report Posted October 21, 2002 I think I am in the extreme minority here, but I feel Triple H still has something to add to the business. He had such a good year in 2000 that I feel if he gets on a hot streak with the right opponants, he'll be fairly good. Maybe he just needs another few months to rest his injuries, and return with the act that brought him to the dance. In all honesty, his babyface return killed any sorta momentum that he had. Now he is stuck in pergatory, he isn't liked by the audience yet they don't hate him like his first run. *Something* has to be done.
