Guest GameCop Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Unfortunately, WWE has decided to go with Lesnar vs. Show for the Survivor Series. I truly question the sanity of the person(s) who came up with THIS idea. If you thought that was inane and retarded, we'll probably have to endure a Kane vs. HHH casket match. Back to back hoss matches, you say? WWE should change the name of the show to: The Hossivor Series. I truly hope/believe that the MSG fans will either leave or chant obscenities during either the HHH-Kane match, Brock-Show match, or both. Vince and Stephanie need to take their heads out of each other's asses, and smell reality. Every fan - mark or smark doesn't want to see Brock vs. Show; they would rather lick a damn toilet seat. And, if the proposed HHH-Kane match does transpire, I hope Katie Vick appears and tombstones each man into oblivion. So, my proposal is: if WWE doesn't deviate from its current path, I want each and every one of you to send an e-mail (if you haven't done so). If WWE decides to sustain its retarded behavior, I hope and pray that MSG embarasses the WWE.
Guest Choken One Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 War Games and the likely 3 way Tag Title Match will be the REAL draws. Brock-Show will be a 5 minute squash...HHH-Kane will be our shitter time...so it won't be bad...
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I would much rather watch Show/Brock than Kane/HHH.
Guest Brian Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I still doubt they'll end up doing Brock/Show. Maybe it's the optimist in me.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'm getting the feeling that the Elimination Chamber is more than just Wargames. It's like Wargames with eliminations. That way whoever wins can get a title shot or something. Who does RAW even have deserving of a spot in this match? RVD, Booker, Jericho... ... ... They better make a small chamber

They better make a small chamber Well, they just traded Show, so maybe whoever they got from that. Bautista's promo's seem to indicate that he'll be a player in the future of RAW. Storm and Regal could enter. Hurricane is over enough as well, although he hates doing garbage matches.
Guest Ram Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Again, I say I'm looking forward to a Brock/Show matchup. Guilty pleasure.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'm not looking forward to a Lesnar vs. Big Show match as the main event for the Survivor Series. HHH vs. Kane I'm at least looking forward to seeing, just because Kane's involved. Though, HHH vs. RVD would be better. Oh well, the Elimination Chamber sounds like it should be pretty cool.
Guest ZGangsta Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I still doubt they'll end up doing Brock/Show. Maybe it's the optimist in me. Yeah, who knows, maybe the real reason they brought in the Big Show is so he could job to the greatness of MATTITUDE~!!
Guest eirejmcmahon Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'm a big fan of Brock but TBS brings nothing to the table - I'm sure that Lesnar will pull out a couple of impressive power moves that will pop the crowd but as for the other 13 minutes or whatever...not going to be pretty. Having said that, I had bugger all hope for Lesnar/Taker and that ended up being an enjoyable bout.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'm not looking forward to a Lesnar vs. Big Show match as the main event for the Survivor Series. Yes because when you need a good match- call Kane! All my friends back home who at first were very excited about going to Survivor Series are now wondering whether they should get tix. Good one Vince.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Brock-Show will NOT be the main event for Survivor Series. It's a showcase match for Brock and Big Show is just a placeholder challenger since WWE wants to continue the SD tag feud and don't want to feed any of their top faces (Edge, Rey, etc.) to Brock. Also, HHH has been out of the "official" main event match for the last 3 PPVs (vs. Michaels, vs. RVD, vs. Kane) so I bet he will want "his turn" to main event the show as the champion. Either that, or Bischoff's Elimination Chamber will be the top match. Expect to see Lesnar-Show half-way through and just a glorified Lesnar squash.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I honestly think they are going to push this as the actual main event. I'm sure Show has been unhappy for a couple of years and they are going to give him his shot. I bet the let Patterson map this one out and try to make it something like they did with Rock/Hogan. Of course this is no Rock/Hogan, but I have a feeling they are going to try and pull something out of thier ass with this one and make people say, wow that wasn't so bad!
Guest The Hamburglar Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Brock - Show has Show-Bossman written all over it, as in not being the main. Its gonna be a Brock squash, maybe even showcasing Lesnar's mat stuff as being the way he dominates Show. Choken One's right, I get the feeling that WWE is looking for the SD tag title three way to be a major attraction. I can see them making it a ladder match, further overdoing that particular gimmick and making me fear for Benoit's neck, Rey's knees and more besides.
Guest Nevermortal Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 Why do they want Brock as a face? Because you put him in there with Show and Brock's going to get one big fucking pop when he beats him.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 We'll know next week by the way they promote it. If they go all out with little videos and show just a lot of clips of that exclusive feud ( actually this could take a couple weeks) You'll know that tis is the top match.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I like the way he warned of spoilers.
Guest cabbageboy Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I figured the elimination chamber thing was a team vs. team concept...I never thought about it being a #1 contender match. That is a good idea, might actually get me to watch the show if it happens and is especially brutal.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 depending on how well the match is booked, a mid-card relatively competitive bout kept under 10 minutes could go pretty well to getting brock over as a face, especially is he can dominate show with matwork and win with a shooting star (now is the time - surely?). he also needs to show more intensity, emotion, and awareness of the presence of a crowd, but hey - baby steps...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I'd hope anyone who didn't want to know what the main event was would be smart enough not to click a link that says "fans will shit all over the main event"
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 24, 2002 Report Posted October 24, 2002 I echo bps21. There was no need to put a spoiler title here.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Brock as a face? What about Heyman?
Guest edotherocket Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 As pointed out, it's Triple H's turn to headline a PPV. Now, here's the catch. By rights, Kane should go over him in the WWE's current lame-ass trend of win-swapping at PPVs. Will Triple H play ball?
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 With the addition of Steiner, I say hell yes.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 As pointed out, it's Triple H's turn to headline a PPV. Now, here's the catch. By rights, Kane should go over him in the WWE's current lame-ass trend of win-swapping at PPVs. Will Triple H play ball? i know he's a good company man and all, but they had to have promised kane a title run after all this corpse fucking nonsense he's had to go through. regal got an (admittedly worthless) i-c run in return for kissing mcmahon's buttocks.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Yeah, well just ask Vader about those "promises"
Guest DeputyHawk Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 i thought he was all set to beat shawn at series 96, but then got a badly injured foot so they had sid win the no.1 contenders at iyh11, and then the foot injury turned out to be not so bad as feared. but then i also heard that he was supposed to go over at summerslam, and the booking changed mid-match, so fuck if i know.
Guest cabbageboy Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I still wouldn't remotely give Kane the title. Hell being in the main event is way more than he deserves based on his current heat level. Kane might make a transition jobber from HHH to Steiner however. Incidentally what is the big fucking deal about Scott Steiner signing? I mean I've heard "HHH vs. Steiner at WM" talk already. Why? Steiner wasn't that big of a star in WCW or anything. Hell he was the champ when they were going out of business. I don't see why Booker T wouldn't be considered as big or bigger than Steiner. I certainly know Steiner isn't near RVD right now in terms of star power, so the only reason I can see for him vs. HHH at WM is just to have another guy for HHH to go over. That said, this should be amusing. I can't see Steiner being HHH's job bitch, I think he'd shoot on him in the back before that.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 Steiner is a hoss, therefore he is automatically catapulted to at least higher than Booker T. Come on, you know the logic!
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted October 25, 2002 Report Posted October 25, 2002 I still think that Elimination Chamber will just be a caged SurSer match... they know the fans want to go back to that style for this PPV but they only give it to us in wierd shitty ways...
