Will the Elimination Chamber be a dethroning?

Will a new RAW brand Champion be crowned in this Elimination Chamber? There are so many guys this title can be placed upon that could break out, but HHH is still in the match, and now HBK is too. Question is, will he continue this "piss off the smarks by doing whatever he wants whenever he wonts" or will he lay down (of course not cleanly) to one of the many RAW stars in this match? Discuss!

Eh, he'll come in last after Booker T and Jericho have been eliminated and it will be RVD/Kane/HBK/HHH. Kane eliminates RVD, HHH eliminates Kane and then its down to HBK and HHH. From there it could go either way, although I figure HHH wins and takes out HBK until the Rumble..

I hate to say I told you so, but since HHH doesn't have anyone left, he is going to go over everybody in the same match.

I don't know but I do know if HHH wins there will be non stop whining that he "went over 5 other guys" and what not, but if anyone else wins, that won't be a complaint.

Thats because no one else wins against HHH in an important match. Please dont defend him.

It's the 6 pack challenge all over again. Watch as WWE struggles to get HHH over by putting him over all their top stars, IN ONE NIGHT!

I expect Triple H to go over every top contender on Raw at once, but on the chance he does lose the belt at Survivor Series, it'll either be to the worst wrestler in the match that isn't HHH (Kane), or to the retired non-wrestler HBK to give him one last run on top.

Hopefully Booker will win (he's getting the best sustained pops) after HBK comes back and screws HHH.

Steiner arrives and sayshe wants his rematch with Booker, bumping HHH out of the title picture. HHH nearly kills HBK on RAW.

Jericho is eliminated quickly in the Chamber and looks dumbstruck as the fans boo him on his way out and no shows RAW the next night.

HHH comes out on the second week's RAW and cust his I AM THE GAME promo but is cut off by Jericho in full Jerichoholic mode who savages him. Later on Jericho realises that without the Jerichoholics he was an assclown even if he did wear more gold and now he has seen that HHH NEVER cared for the fans as he took their cheers at Wrestlemania.

BANG

Two well storied and likely, popular matches for Armageddon.

Add a Tag title match and something else, maybe some T & a OR AN RVD match and hell, RAW carries it's weight on PPV for the first time since forever.

I have a real bad feeling that Kane is going to Win here.

I, like most, wouldn't be shocked if Triple H goes over everyone, leaving him to feud with Steiner. Which, may not be "that" bad.

I see HBK getting "Hurt" again, and taking off until WM. Why would they dare put the belt on him if he can't go full time?

RVD? Jericho? Booker T? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

In order to benefit from a title win, both RVD and Booker T need to go over HHH cleanly in a one on one match - neither have anything to gain by winning the title in the elimination match, unless they go on to beat HHH clean the following month.

Which means that Booker will probably win it (after pinning/eliminating Kane) and lose it back to HHH at the next PPV.

If HHH wins then the only person left is Steiner. If he loses the match there are a bunch of different ways they can go with him. Would the WWE put Steiner in a ME World Title feud his first feud with the company? I think HHH has got to lose here. Will he though?

That being said it won't be long until HHH is right back in the thick of the title hunt if not the next night. The Raw roster is too thin for him to stay away from the title. Unless they want to give Jericho another run with the title.

Like everybody else here i see HGH winning the match by eliminating HBK since he owes him a job from Summerslam. All the other guys except for Kane are there to take the big bumps. I already lost hope in the RAW brand, fans are talking about boycotting RAW but what they should do is stop paying for ppvs and WWE merchandise that'll show Vinnie mac who's the boss.

I hate all this "You owe me a job", even-steven booking practice. For Christ's sake, can't someone just be willing to put someone over for real, like wrestlers had been doing for decades? It makes everyone look pathetic. And I hate that "anyone can beat anyone on any given match" bullshit. Some wrestlers are obviously better than others, so what's the point with all the fluke pins and screwjobs?

It's shit like this that has made wrestling such a chore to enjoy. Fucking politics.

Amen to that, that's why wrestling has become so predictable and unwatchable.

Ugh....The idea sounds like a pile of dogshit to me. HHH or Kane are the only possible winners, as far as I can see. HHH will get is pinfall back on HBK, and why is HBK even back this soon? Does a man with a broken back really need to wrestle in this shit?

I took a look at all the participants and used reasoning to come up with who should win.

HHH: this entire match is set up so he HAS to job, I refuse to look at it any other way. That said he has to be the last man eliminated or else it is meaningless.

Kane: why do people think Kane is going to win this? He got all the revenge he's going to get last night on Raw, he even said he didn't care about the title....therefore he's jobbing. In fact I think he'll be ousted first since he's the slowest and has the least stamina.

Jericho: tag champ, job boy otherwise...get real. Also sorta feuding with Booker.

Booker: hasn't been a viable challenger in a long time, and besides he has yet to have a one on one match with Jericho.

Michaels: cannot possibly win the match due to his back trouble, him winning makes possibly less sense than HHH.

RVD: has come close to winning before, the show will be in NYC where he'll be seriously over and if you look he is the one guy in the match who hasn't held a world title. I'm going with RVD.

I agree about Kane, he went over as clean as HHH will allow these days on Raw, so he's done. Jericho is a no way, HBK won't get the title. Booker is about as close as it comes to getting the title along with RVD, but I say both are going to be out in favor of HHH pinning Michaels.

HHH=Hulk Hogan 2002.

Maybe the elimation Chamber is gonna be like the DOOMSDAY cage.

There's basically three people who have been booked to look like they can win this match. I'm now, after RAW, in doubt that Kane can win because they shifted into Triple H/HBK and it seems like Monday was the blow-off without the title win, so Kane could go over. HBK doesn't have the ability to work a full time schedule. So if you're going on that, it more likely that HHH will win.

I'm looing at final pairings and I doubti t'll come down to HHH/HBK since that's something they're going to try and get the most out of in a big blow-off match. Since HHH should make it to the final, that leaves Booker, RVD, and Kane. Again, putting the title on Kane and giving him a win is not where this seems to be headed. I'd book it by having Flair try to cost RVD the match, only to have Michaels stop Flair, HHH try to hit Michaels with a chair, RVD Van Daminator, frog splash, HBK raises his hand and hands him the title.

Either that or it comes down to Kane and HHH and Michaels accidently superkicks or hits Kane with the sledgehammer, but HBK can't be asked to bump all over the place for Kane.

Booker wins the title and Steiner comes in to get his revenge to cap off their feud from WCW. A long, strong match laden feud develops that is the centerpiece of Raw.

Nevermind, that would be cool.

For a supposed "top star," HHH hasn't been over for a long, long time--since before the quad injury. He's bombed as a face, has bombed as a heel, and when Bischoff announced the names of the participants, everyone I know who saw it testify he got the least reaction out of any of them.

At least when Hogan was in his heyday, him going over all the time was justified SINCE HE WAS ACTUALLY OVER!!

HHH is not. And when people ARE GETTING UP AND LEAVING during your so-called "main event," then there's clearly a problem. HHH can't even main event house shows BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL LEAVE--so RVD does that honor.

HHH isn't over, HHH isn't a good wrestler anymore, HHH doesn't get pops save for his entrance, more HHH leads to lower ratings--can you find a single reason why he deserves his sustained push?

Even if HHH loses, it won't be by putting anyone over in a clean fashion, so fuck it anyways.

I'm going with RVD, too. There's always that doubt in the back of my mind...it's quite likely that HHH will win. When he was heel last, he went almost a full year retaining the world title in matches that were designed to beat him. Wrestlemania 2000, Vs. Cactus Jack/Mick Foley in Hell in a cell, he even beat Austin in the three stages of hell match(although he wasn't champ). But this time I HAVE to believe he's going down, if only to win it back at Armageddon.

As for why I think RVD will take it-he's the most credible, in my opinion. Even though he hasn't been booked impressivly the last two months, they are still booking him and keeping him fresh. He went over Flair at the last PPV just to keep him winning. Also, two weeks ago he was wrestling Cripple H and almost beat him. The crowd remembers RVD is the man. I think Rob will take the title. For a month.

Booker T is still new, but that could work in his favor as an upset victory. Big unpredictable risk. It would also be a good move on Crips part, because he could claim he gave Booker a chance, and when the ratings continue to be low, they have a nice compact scapegoat, and they can give thier savior his precious title back.

Kane could get the upper hand in his feud with Crips, ending with them at Armageddon again where Trip H can win his title back.

Jericho....forget about it. HHH hates him, and thus he'll never succeed again. It's only a matter of time until Crips forces him out of the company.

HBK has a possibility, if he's prepared to wrestle for Armageddon, but I wouldn't count on it. I won't be terribly surprised if he's replaced in that match anyway.

At any rate, everyone but Crips and JobberCo will bump, no matter who wins, HHH will be champ after Armageddon and going into Royal Rumble(and probably into Wrestlemania to face the Smackdown champ in a unification match, you ask me), and, I believe, the match will be entertaining to watch.

But my prediction is going to be RVD, Booker T or Kane. Primarily, I'm betting on RVD.

Hell.... 5 people, remember the first HHH push to World title hood the Period of From Chyna to Stephanie they threw him into that 6 pack Challenge and he was able to beat them all as well. Its just a matter of....I Need to look good Vince because I AM the Company old man! So He'll defeat Booker, Trash Kane Mop up HBK Obilterate Jericho and Disintergrate RVD because....Only HE is the man! thats what steph says lol

Not to be cynical, but this is probably HHH's way of insuring whomever gets the title, bombs as champ. HHH won't be pinned if in fact he loses. Even if he does, he'll still be the focus of RAW, while RVD or Booker are playing the lucky mid-card guy who gets to warm HHH's belt for a month.

I'd rather HHH win the match, than have one of the holy 3 mid-carders on RAW look like complete chumps.

everyone seems convinced that Jericho is going to be the first man out of the match...I don't. I have a strong inking that he'll be the last man eliminated. Not because WWE wants to make him look good but because they want to be able to Say H3 never outright was pinned for the title...

So if he can Pedigree RVD...Pose and Shawn blindsides him with a Sweet Chin kick...RVD wakes up...Pops up and hits 5stars.

HHH gets pissed...kills Shawn and Leaves Jericho alone with Van Dam...A 6 minute match ensues...RVD wins the title.

Which allows H3 to look safe and keep his "heat". Gives him an excuse...He faces RVD at Armadeggon...Shawn returns and costs him the title...they have the Classic Retirement match at Rumble...

Posted

I'm thinking they're going to extend it by both being in the rumble, a HHH/Flair vs. HBK/RVD tag at Armageddon (seems likely), and make it to WrestleMania, is that is probably the only way Triple H would give up the title match for such a high profile match with his friend. Especially on a card with Angle/Lesnar, Booker/RVD and Rock returning (Benoit?) it gives him a chance to upstage them all.

Guest Choken One

Very likely they can push the angle all the way to WMXIX but what can they do to keep H3 occupied?

That's very likely, and he'll be able to convince Vince that that's "putting over" some one.

A very likely scenario indeed... damn.
