Guest HartFan86 Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Yeah....I remember posting that about "THIS GUY VS. THAT GUY." I think it was for Summerslam, that was fucking awesome. On the SmackDown! prior to SummerSlam 2000, Kurt Angle kissed Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley -- the wife of Triple H! That only heated things up heading into their Triple Threat match with The Rock for the WWE Championship. At SummerSlam, Triple H took it right to Angle, and was about to give him a Pedigree through the Spanish announcers' table when the table broke out from under him. As a result, Angle suffered a severe concussion, and would suffer from post-concussion syndrome for six weeks following the Pay-Per-View. Amazingly, though, Angle returned and finished the match, which wound up being a hell of a contest. Rock retained his title when all was said and done. Also at SummerSlam 2000, Shane McMahon fell nearly 50 feet from the top of a scaffolding, and the Dudley Boyz, Hardy Boyz and Edge & Christian put on yet another classic TLC Match. Sounds like a slobberknocker.

I miss "THIS GUY vs THAT GUY" The funniest WWE.com fuckup was when they listed Mark Henry's finisher as "The Olympic Slam" and his catchphrase as "It's True, It's True". Anglesault suffered a stroke that day.

No, actually it was the ANGLE Slam which made it even funnier. Imagine if they had actually gone through with that?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted October 31, 2002 Report Posted October 31, 2002 Anyone remember the Armageddon 2000 test page? They had the main event being HHH vs. Austin and the Rock vs. the Undertaker. I actually thought at the time they were building up to those matches. Anyways, RVD vs. the Rock. It's kinda hard for that match to take place, considering one of them isn't even in the WWE at the moment.
