Guest Danny Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Bret Hart has mended things up with Vince and HBK. Bret wants to come back. I think this is cool and he'll probally be a WWE Commissioner or something. How does everybody else feel about Bret returning.
Guest BaldFish Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 AAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA... ...you're joking, right?
Guest CanadianChick Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I heard that he is on speaking terms with Vince, but I haven't heard anything on Shawn...
Guest Danny Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 AAAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA... ...you're joking, right? haha, no its actually in the healines on all wrestling sites about Bret Hart returning.
Guest BaldFish Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 ::checks Torch and the Observer:: Define "all wrestling sites".
Guest BaldFish Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Man, it's not even on 1bob. Is this "Jeff's House of Pro Wrasslin.com"?
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Right.... And the nWo will make a triamphant return on RAW.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 There is no way Bret Hart is coming back, certainly not anytime soon. What would he do anyway? He can't wrestle, doesn't manage (and managers would have to take bumps as well) and there's no space for "commissioners" whilst WWE has the brand split and General Managers filling that role.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I saw a mention of this at Prowrestling.com. While I highly doubt it will happen, I still would like to see him come back for an official goodbye or something.
Guest BaldFish Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 They should get him back for one brawling match with Vince. That would pop the buyrates like no one's business. Pay him a flat million to do it with no backstory, no TV appearances prior, just say it's going to happen. Can you imagine it? Frankly, the thought is causing all three of my pathetic inches of man-meat to stand at attention.
Guest Danny Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 ::checks Torch and the Observer:: Define "all wrestling sites". all the big wrestling sites and its not confirmed that Bret's returning but its most likely he will. Vince talked to Bret when Bret was in the hospital. Shawn apologized to Bret in a phone call.
Guest CanadianChick Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Shawn apologized to Bret in a phone call. REally? I ever heard of that...
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I have heard alot about Bret Hart possibly returning to the WWE, and yes, I would like to see it happen. He could return for one last match against Vince, and then become a manager or something. Hell, Bret as the GM of either RAW or Smackdown would be pretty cool to see.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Right.... And the nWo will make a triamphant return on RAW. Dude, Jeff just tripped off of you. Ouch. Jeff's redeemed himself today with his Royal Rumble idea and this latest bit of sarcasm... at least redeemed himself a little bit. To comment on the thread though, I'd love it like nobody's business, because I haven't seen Bret in REAL action since the Owen tribute match, and before that the last time was in 1995. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Danny Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Shawn apologized to Bret in a phone call. REally? I ever heard of that... yeah and if you go to WZ, WV, Fhwrestling, and backstagewrestling; you can read the entire article or you can read the headlines here at thesmartmarks.
Guest AM The Kid Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Shawn apologized to Bret in a phone call. REally? I ever heard of that... yeah and if you go to WZ, WV, Fhwrestling, and backstagewrestling; you can read the entire article or you can read the headlines here at thesmartmarks.
Guest Ram Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 1st off, you put a spoiler in the title and subtitle of this post. Bad. 2nd, I only checked FHwrestling (which I have NEVER even heard of until now), and the only news on it was a rewritten Torch tidbit that misinterpreted the actual Torch tidbit. I assume it happened elsewhere.
Guest Ram Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Also, I think YOU misinterpreted the news.
Guest ShooterJay Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Unless you've got an Observer or WWE.com credit, DON'T YOU EVER FUCKING PULL THIS SHIT AGAIN! Sorry, Bret material is sensitive for me.
Guest Danny Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Bret is coming to the WWE and its a fact.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Yah have him come back and put Vince and Earl in a double sharpshooter.
Guest LaParkaMarka Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Bret is coming to the WWE and its a fact. Right. It's a fact. Sure thing, tiger. I'll believe it if Meltzer reports it, or if it's on the front page of WWE.com. Curious, though...how did you find out this "fact"? Insider sources? Close personal friends with the Hart family? Gary Spivey? Do tell.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Don't you know? It's a fact because he read recycled news on a few second-rate sites.
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I have seen that posted on RajahWWF.com, and i would hardly consider that site 'second-rate', however PW Torch it isn't. It just isnt probable to bring in the Hitman, he can't do anything, the guy has just suffered a serious stroke and last i heard he was still trying to WALK on his own, yet alone talk with Vince, go to church with HBK and consider returning to the WWE. This Danny guy seems to have a habit of posting bullshit anyway, however I'll save my opinions for No Holds Barred. ~Satisfaction lies in your Illusions~
Guest Anglesault Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I heard he IS on speaking terms with Vince. Vince called him after the stroke and Bret appreciated it or something.
Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Bret is coming to the WWE and its a fact. If this guy wasn't such a Kurt (who practiced JenkAttitude) fan, I would kick him in the mouth.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Well theres no mention in the Ross Report which only came out Yesterday and things like this will usuually get mentioned in there. As for wz as a news site? Well Matt Boone and Ryan Clarke do the news there (I used to admin the forums before setting up on my own) and they aint exactly what you'd call insiders put it that way. If they see any mad rumour anywhere they'll report it as if it's true
Guest Brian Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 Rajah is second rate. They recycle all their news with the exception of a few speculations and their SmackDown spoilers. There are basically three sites on the net that post firsthand info: The Torch, 1Wrestling, and the Observer. Everyone else just follows their lead. Whether you want to trust either one of them or not is different, but believing a site that does a cut and paste job with a spin? Well, I've read a bunch about these guys (Meltzer and Keller) in Banaka's thesis, at the DVDVR site, enough to resonably justify some of their writing.
Guest humongous2002 Posted November 2, 2002 Report Posted November 2, 2002 I also heard that Dino Bravo will also make a comeback to the WWE, he'll be in an angle with Kane and HGH where they have a 3 some in a casket.
