Guest BaldFish Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Think about it. We've had references to Mae Young's hand, the Coal Miner's Glove, the Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal match... They're referencing WrestleCrap all over the place. Intentionally, no less. It has to be a desperate appeal to the smarks, without "compromising" the marks' show. Or am I way off base here?
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Or maybe they're just throwing in some jokes about past gimmicks for fans that were watching at the time... And I never thought that the Spin The Wheel, Make A Deal match was all that bad...well, the concept of it.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I believe WWE has heard of and visited wrestlecrap. It's too famous for them not to have heard of. And probably those were blatant attempts to play on them. However, it's not very cool to reference them while diligently working on new possible inductions at the same time.
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 It seems to me that HHH makes a remark directed at smarks almost every week.
Guest razazteca Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 WWE is just attacking its enemies on a weekly basis on Raw and the "net nerds" are just one of many or are just causities of war againt the PTC. I never thought they could cross the line with the crap they put on tv. I mean the Boss Man-Giant daddy angle was tasteless then they made the Katie Fvick angle.
Guest Brian Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 They've just written Bschoff's character to reflect alot of inside jokes abotu his WCW career.
Guest The Old Me Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 And Test getting his haircut tonight was pretty well aimed at us as well.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 The whole Test thing (short tights, hair, "Testicles"...etc..) is directed at the Smarks. Of course, I think Test sorta looks better with short hair, although I cant agree with the tights. As for the "Testicles" thing, it was funny last week, but this week..eh..I kinda feel bad for Test now for somereason.. *Thinks for a minute* Actually, I would go on TV in front of 3 or 4 million people and say "I love my testicles" as well if it came with the same perks..
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 and the fact that _____ screwing _____ seems to be the IN thing this year... could this as well be directed at us...especially with HBK in the main event...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 F-View TV = GTV sort of..
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 has anyone figured out what the "F" stands for yet?
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 in my raw notes...I mentioned that Test's decleration of "I love my testicles" could infact be a statement of self-love.... ...and that fact that Christian hasn't been "on his own" since before the Unamericans...
Guest AnnieEclectic Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I'm guessing F-View is related to who RAW got for the big show. ... Funaki -Annie
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 has anyone figured out what the "F" stands for yet? F-View as in "F U!' as in ....you should figure out from there.
Guest Brian Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 And HLA is a joke on the Gold Club Scandal. Bischoff throwing each other in gimmick matches to get ratings.
