Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Sunday Night Heat Stevie Richards v. Erin Stevens Richards got the win in the most boring match of the night by far Goldust v. Stamboli Goldie got the win-Stamboli is a waste of life And notice, no Raven. Wasn't he supposed to reveal his big plan or whatever? This sucks. FUCK YOU, WWE!!!
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 It might still be on there. Looks like they just listed the matches to me. I'm expecting a Raven promo not a match..

Perhaps he'll only appear in vignette form, added in post-production and such. Anyway, are you really surprised? Does the WW_ ever come through on any claims?
Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 well I didn't think it'd be a match, but still...
Guest cynicalprofit Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 If they dont atleast do a promo, then what was the point in the first place. WWE is WCW all over again, they go and sign big name talent without any plans on how to use them. Vince history is calling you, pick up the fucking phone.
Guest ShooterJay Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Raven DID in fact cut a promo last night. He didn't say much of note- it was just a cheap heat promo with the usual Raven pseudo-intellectual rambling. He did say that "his masterpiece needed more time to perfect," or something like that.
Guest evilhomer Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 That's so true. There's never been more talent available for use that nothing is being done with. It's like they're overwhelmed by the vast array that they have so they just throw their hands up in surrender rather than trying to do something.
Guest notJames Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 Time to clean house, cut the dead weight, and push the guys that either the crowd cares about or who have the most potential for the future. Or, tell the writers to stop spinning their damn wheels and start writing angles that have a definite beginning, conflict, denoument, and finale. Seriously, how hard is it to do?
Guest Choken One Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I'm genuinely waiting for the day, Heyman secrectly lets Dreamer, Raven and Snow book Smackdown.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 5, 2002 Report Posted November 5, 2002 I'm genuinely waiting for the day, Heyman secrectly lets Dreamer, Raven and Snow book Smackdown. Maybe they are? If it's a Secret then how would we know?
Guest Combat Apparatus Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 sounds like another WWE copout to me
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I heard they teased a heel turn for D'Lo Brown in a match against Spike. Does anyone know anymore about this?
Guest art_vandelay Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 He did say that "his masterpiece needed more time to perfect," or something like that. a.k.a. "The writers didn't have enough time to work on my angle."
Guest The Superstar Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 He did say that "his masterpiece needed more time to perfect," or something like that. That is SUCH typical WWE bullshit.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 He did say that "his masterpiece needed more time to perfect," or something like that. a.k.a. "The writers didn't have enough time to work on my angle." Dammit! Raven and his fans get screwed again! Needs more time to perfect... what kind of crap is that? I hope to hell that the program isn't totally dropped and is just delayed. Even then... what could they possibly hope to gain from leading us on to a bait & switch? Raven's not a big enough superstar where that situation would work.
Guest Ram Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I bet they keep putting it off as a way to attract new viewers. WHAT IS HIS PLAN, indeed. That or Raven has a new gimmick - he's The Procrastinator.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I bet they keep putting it off as a way to attract new viewers. I love Raven, but does he draw enough that that could work? I know he was ECW Champion twice, and was most popular there, but what about now?
Guest Zack Malibu Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I thought he said on this past week's HEAT that he's revealing something on next week's RAW?
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I'm genuinely waiting for the day, Heyman secrectly lets Dreamer, Raven and Snow book Smackdown. Why? No comprende. Anyway, they never have Raven non-wrestling news in the spoilers. I remember I was pissed last week nothing happened, but then I see he has a little exchange with Steven. Maybe these little backstage bits are post-taping, or the people getting the spoilers don't watch Heat, so they don't pay attention to it, thinking it's all just filler. Plus, maybe this means he'll be on Raw to reveal the masterpiece. I can't believe they said it needs more time to develop...c'mon, WWE. You suck. I still think this is gonna give him a push, though. Look how they're starting to keep him in dark matches teaming with jobbers to beat jobbers, so maybe to make his TV matches seem more special (that's not really what I mean to say, I just can't think of a way to say it). Plus, he's jobbed on every house show for the past month, which I'm interpreting as a bit of due-paying before a nice push. His only wins lately have been on TV, and all his TV matches have been wins for a while (a while = a month). Yeah, that's around two matches, but still. Please bring back Raven and the Flock. With a push. Please.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I thought he said on this past week's HEAT that he's revealing something on next week's RAW? He just said he's revealing it "next week." Everyone assumed Heat because he's not allowed on Raw, at least not until the angle possibly goes and changes that.
