Guest ISportsFan Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 This is the picture from The WWE Survivor Series Website. I'll edit it if I posted the picture wrong, but it'll get up here eventually. It's kind of obvious who is getting pushed here... Jason
Guest HartFan86 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Oh...my....god. That's so fucking sad. I seriously hope HHH/HBK eliminate each other at the beginning of the match to fool us.
Guest ShooterJay Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 To be fair, there's actually a pretty good reason for that- HBK/HHH is a really hot feud right now, and since Shawn doesn't wrestle often, I'd make that the focal point to. I think, though, just like Vengeance when most people thought the Undisputed title finals were going to be Rock/Austin, I'm predicted somebody unexpected will win.- Probably RVD or Booker.
Guest ISportsFan Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 And I didn't even notice yet, but I just realized that the four guys in the background aren't even focused. They're pictures are fuzzy! This is pathetic. Jason
Guest D'Lo White Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 And Jericho's picture doesn't even have his beard.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Booker doesn't even have his dreads!
Guest The Electrifyer Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Man, all of those pictures are horrible at the site. Why is The Big Show so prominant in the pitcure with Brock?
Guest ISportsFan Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 To be fair, there's actually a pretty good reason for that- HBK/HHH is a really hot feud right now, and since Shawn doesn't wrestle often, I'd make that the focal point to. Really, then what's the point of putting the other four guys in the match? If they're just being put in there as lame ducks, they'd be better off by themselves in a match (or matches), like maybe Jericho v. Booker or something else. Just putting them in with the "hot feud" to die a horrible death is not the best way to build for the future. Jason
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 What are you silly geese talking about? OF COURSE those two should be the prominent figures of this upcoming match! I mean, if RAW was just HHH-HBK interactions, they'd get 10.0 ratings for sure!!!! Everyone else can just fuck off! *rolls eyes*
Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 sigh...that picture's to scale, too
Guest converge241 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 cause hes a Giant YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGH sorry maybe the Jericho and Booker pictures are saying that the EChamber will draw them from the past, and they can be cut down even further, retroactively
Guest DerangedHermit Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Wow...you people ARE fucking paranoid. Go outside tomorrow morning, take a few deep breaths, ride your bike or run around the block a few times, and ask "Does this have ANY bearing at all on my life?!??!" Unless you're a Clique member, a McMahon or a WWE employee, don't take this too seriously.
Guest The Tino Standard Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Looking at the other pictures for matches, I really wouldn't read anything into the Elimination Chamber match picture. I think they are trying to go for a wacky look with the pictures, putting the competitors at different depths. The only problem for them is that it looks really really stupid.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Picture doesn't bother me a bit. The WWE aren't promoting anyone outside of HHH or HBK with having a shot, and they aren't gonna start anytime soon. My only problem is that they're wasting these guys from having anything decent in the mid-card, to getting buried and having any crediblity they may have had completely squashed in a main event match that they're obviously not winning. If they're going with anyone outside of the two mentioned to win it, then they'd really better start pushing the other guys as having the slightest chance and make them look like legit threats. We saw a smidge of that last night where Booker got to go over HHH, but with the Even Steven booking that plagues the company, it's only a matter of time before Hunter destroys Booker in under 5 minutes. sigh
Guest Anglesault Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 It's kind of obvious who is getting pushed here... Jason Ya think?
Guest nikowwf Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Hell, watching Raw this was obvious. Booker wins, but we listen to HBK talk. RVD was in the spot of death right before the main event in as unimportant a match as good be. If they pushed RVD and BOOKER as being big threats to HHH I think people would think their is a better chance of him losing the title and theyd get more buys. niko
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 But RVD takes up a huge portion of the page in the upper left corner, and he's bigger than all the other pictures. Rawkin'.
Guest humongous2002 Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Well i knew from the get go who was going to be the focus of the elimination chamber match, that's WWE booking for ya boring and very predictable, 2 kliq members giving each other the rub.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Well i knew from the get go who was going to be the focus of the elimination chamber match, that's WWE booking for ya boring and very predictable, 2 kliq members giving each other the rub. I hate that term: the rub. It makes you think of one physically doing so--very gay.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Until they use pictures of Stevie Ray to promote Booker T, I'll let this slide.
Guest Brian Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Figures. Means either Booker or RVD is going to win and their reign will die right out of the gates.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 who the hell are those flamers in the back?
Guest TheArchiteck Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 The pic has no meaning cause the 2 are obviously in the more prominant fued. But damn...thats very poor quality. Hell, even I can do better than that.
Guest Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 If ya look at the other Pictures, Brock & Trish are just as or in Trishes case, even fuzzier, so I wouldn't read to much into it. Besides, So What? Will a pissy little picture on the internet have any real bearing on the result of the match? Do the people wwho post the pictures have any clue to who will win the match? Im sure they would be told who to emphisise (sp?) but I doubt they would let someone working in the Internet department know the results, the rate the ratings are going down, they want every Neilson rating & PPV Buyrate they can get
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 who the hell are those flamers in the back? WAIT! Out of the Six of them, the Four in the back are the Flamers?
Guest subliminal_animal Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 DerangedHermit is right. If I worked for the WWE, wasn't a smark at all and was looking at that topic, chances are I'd laugh and label everyone here a loser. Even me, except I'm not here anymore because I'm not a smark and work for Vince now.
Guest netslob Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 It's kind of obvious who is getting pushed here... Jason Ya think? who's Jason and how come he's being pushed?
Guest T®ITEC Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Well, Kane = Jason, and Jason/Kane just got "the rub" from HHH in their feud, and so.... Man, I don't even watch anymore.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Well let's be honest. Here's how the marks see the match: Jericho: No chance in hell RVD: No chance in hell Booker: Maybe by some fluke Kane: Maybe HBK: YEAH BOY! HBK BRINGS THE PAAAAIN! HHH: Well, he never loses so I guess he's a safe bet. If you doubt that this is how everyone else sees the match but us internet-types I invite you to the Zsasz household to spend time with my brother, wife, and son, as we all watch the PPV. - So Sayeth Zsasz
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Yes, because one household accounts for all the marks in the world. Right.
