Guest Invader3k Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I think it's become pretty clear that Vince McMahon is no longer in touch with the average wrestling fan. After the past several weeks of shitty RAWs, it's pretty obvious that the WWE no longer even knows who comprises their core audience, or how to attract (positive) attention. Vince McMahon is to 2002 WWE as what Bill Watts was to 1992 WCW. He's relying on stuff that was successful five years ago in order to try and draw today. It just isn't working. I think it's time for Vince to step down from running the WWE once and for all. Leave things up to the kids. It can't end up being much worse than things are now.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 oh, it could. But yeah, Vince should retire and leave the fed to ME! I'd make that shit work, yo. Check this out, this would be my game plan: Stop doing stupid things. I think it'd work.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I thought it was time for Vince to retire a few years ago, and he still hasn't. I'd much rather Shane as the owner of the WWE than Vince. Maybe then we'd get something other than this stupid crap. Though, it has been better as of late, I will say that, but it could be better. With Shane in control, the WWE would hopefully get better.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 The problem is, if Vince retires we are stuck with Steph, and she's even worse.
Guest buffybeast Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 I think Vince should reconsider his advisors. The man is a competent business man who has a very good idea as to how to run a wrestling promotion, better than any promoter in the history of the business. The problem I see is he has surrounded himself with either yes men or people who's outlook on the current state of affairs is even more flawed than his own. He probably needs new people around him.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Why does Vince get all the Blame for Raw, but no Credit for Smackdown? He over sees both shows. Besides, If Vince retired, bet your ass, We'll be hearing about a (ReAL) Wedding coming up soon after.
Guest razazteca Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Smarks want to credit Paul Heyman for Smackdown's wrestling matches.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted November 6, 2002 Report Posted November 6, 2002 Vince has said himself, that he doesn't bother with the mid-card. That means his influence on Smackdown is the Big Show push. Whoopee!
