The necrophilia angle that WWE aired on the October 21 edition of Raw has been the source of much controversy, and was edited off the shows in the UK and Austrailia.

 

However, Vince McMahon was so thrilled with how the skit came out, that he actually wanted it to be replayed again during the same edition of Raw, later in the show! McMahon backed off the idea to replay the skit for a second time in one night when some top WWE advertisers balked at the idea.

 

In addition, there is heat on HHH in the lockerroom because he did participate in the storyline. There is a feeling that since HHH has so much influence and power, he could have persuaded Vince not to do the angle, or refused to participate in the angle.

And why did the advertisers get a chance to have their say? Does he screen the pre-taped segments and whatever they have planned by them before the show?

They did send a warning to TNN that this would be airing earlier in the day, so they knew what was up, but I'm still surprised that info like that could get to advertisers THAT quickly.

I too wondered why the snipers would shoot kids and guys outside Ponderosa around Washington DC. It's not like there aren't more plausible targets for a psychopathic sniper around DC. There's Bush, Chaney, any number of Senators and Congressmen...take your pick. Why shoot bus drivers and such?

 

I guess it boils down to these guys being nutjobs and that's about it.

 

I think HHH did the angle mainly because he knows Vince will push him anyway no matter how bad the angle turns out. Kane will be blamed for it and buried, and HHH knows it.
