Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 from rajahwwf, the raw brand house show from penn state on 11/08, hope christian & regal or both okay. must've been something in the water. Table Match: Buh Buh Ray Dudley v. Christian Christian came out first and ran down Penn State. Buh Buh came out and defended Penn State. A brutal match that ended...sort of...when Christian tried to powerbomb Buh Buh through a table, leading to a series of counters that ended with a Buh Buh Bomb on the table. I say on because the table didn't break. Christian, in obvious pain, was laid out on the table, where Buh Buh then tried to go off the top rope. The table STILL didn't break. Buh Buh then went to the back, giving Christian time to heal. Dudley came back with a piece of plywood and took the mic, saying that table was the toughest table he's ever worked with. With that, he hit Christian over the head with a piece of plywood and pinned him for the win. After the match, Buh Buh saluted the table before he left. Christian, meanwhile, had to be helped to the back. He gave us a thumbs up as he left and seemed to be alright walking out. Incidentally, the whole table fiasco was so bizzare that even Howard Finkel, upon entering the ring to announce intermission, was amazed to the point of asking just what happened. This coming from the man who has been with the WWF/E for longer than anyone not named McMahon. Winner: Buh Buh Ray Dudley Rob Van Dam and Spike Dudley v. William Regal and Lance Storm. Cool match with one awesome spot in particular, where Spike is going for a tag but is stopped by Lance Storm. Storm lifts Spike up and has him over his back by the ankles, which Spike then counters into a sunset flip. The faces get the win with a Five Star Frog Splash to Regal after Spike had Acid Dropped Storm. After the match, Regal was in real pain and stayed on the mat for several minutes. As he got up, you could see that his shoulder looked terrible, possibly separated. Winners: RVD and Spike via pinfall.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 haven't heard that old regal's seriously injured anywhere else, so hopefully he's okay. a separation would make those european uppercuts entertaining at least.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 haven't heard that old regal's seriously injured anywhere else, so hopefully he's okay. a separation would make those european uppercuts entertaining at least. If he gets injured a week before I go to Survivor Series- RVD is gonna die.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Jeez...yes, definitely the House Show from Hell.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 that reckless rvd. he can't work. luckily regal knows people who can punish that little problem. i know a stoner who's jobbing in an elimination chamber next weekend.
Guest CanadianChick Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 it could have been Spike... What!? It could've been!
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 They should bring that table onto WWE programming or something... Too bad about that Regal thing....you can see the tears running out of Barron's face.......
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 it could have been Spike... What!? It could've been! Well Spike was the little toe rag who cheated to become European title. But the description of the match makes it sound like it was RVD
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Hopefully both Christian and Regal are okay, and won't miss too much action.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 So what's worse: This, Regal as a Showgirl, Regal the Pissdrinker, Regal the Stewardess Soiler or Regal the Real Man's Man?
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Regal as a Showgirl At least he won the match furthering him up the WWE ranks. While the match was embarrasing hopefully winning such a big match would warrant Regal a title shot later on. Regal the pissdrinker He ended up teaching that bloody toerag Chris Jericho a lesson at Backlash when he defeated him under Dutchess of Queensbury rules. So Jericho learned his lesson not to fuck with Regal, even though I think Jericho should've been sent to prison. Regal the Stewardess Soiler Do I have to explain this one again? Sigh. Okay here we go- The stewardess was one those people who likes all that erotic hardcore porn stuff. She was bored and she went up to Mr. Regal and request that Mr. Regal urinate her. Mr. Regal, ever the proper gentleman and one to never turn down a lady, complied and started peeing on her. The stewardess' supervisor happened to walk in and see this and the stewardness quickly blamed Mr. Regal who ended up just being an innocent victim in this whole charade. Regal the Real Man's Man I have no problem with a gimmick that allows Regal to show off his talents. He was so sucessful as the man's man that he was actually granted a shot in the world title tourney at Survivor Series 98 even though he was screwed out of it by X-Pac.
Guest Incandenza Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 What about Regal the Salad Tosser?
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Regal the Salad Tosser?? I don't recall ever hearing of Regal tossing salad so you can please explain a little more so I can properly clear Regal's name
Guest Incandenza Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 When he kissed Vince's ass last year.
Guest BillyTheStud Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Its probably Regal's fault for having his arm laid the wrong way.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Ohhh that. First of all he did not toss his salad, he merely kissed his ass. Regal did it for a noble reason. He needed the job to provide for his family so they could eat, have a home and so Regal could provide for his reptiles. Of course he didn't want to kiss the guy's ass but he did it for a noble reason and I think he should be applauded for doing it. He didn't want to let any of his Regal-maniacs down so he decided to sacrafice some dignity but by doing so GAINED some dignity. I applaud Mr. Regal for putting his fans and family first.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Its probably Regal's fault for having his arm laid the wrong way. It's probably RVD's fault for being high on an illegal substance and fucking up the move.
Guest Incandenza Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 We all know that RVD can't work WWE-style, anyway. Thank God for HHH. He'll set things RIGHT.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I was thinking a suitable punishement would be joining a chain gang but I wouldn't mind if he served only like a week in jail
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 dry your tears away, barron, your boy sucked it up and worked the philly house show last night (11/09), even picking up the pin. Unamericans, Version 2.0 vs. Goldust and Spike Dudley Before the match, Regal attempted to speak on the mic, but from where I was sitting, I couldn’t hear him, cuz the crowd was just eating him alive. Typical tag formula here, with Goldust as the freak-in-peril… after he made the hot tag, the match ended kinda without warning. As Spike was going for the Dudley Dog on Storm, Regal caught him, and atomic dropped him on the top rope, which was enough for the win. * christian also worked the card, so all is well. incidentally, the main event of the philly show sounded rather amusing: Hunter Hearst-Helmsley vs. Kane – World Heavyweight Title Match Before the match, HHH got on the mic and totally ripped into this guy in the crowd, then talked briefly about how he is going to re-cripple HBK. The match didn’t go too long before the entire crowd’s attentioned turned to a catfight in the audience. It was so distracting, in fact, that HHH got on the mic: “Hey asshole, Cant you see I am trying to work in here?!” The crowd loved HHH. Then, after a Main Event Spinebuster from HHH, he turned his attention BACK to the person causing the disruption and got on the mic again: “For chrissakes… just kick the bitch out!” Oh… then there was a match in the ring too… Kane got DQ’ed for beatin up refs, then the locker room cleared, and Kane Chokeslammed everyone for the hell of it, did his pyro and that was that… *1/2 (the ½ for the catfight) heh. fuckin rvd and his subterranean catfight plots to drain hunter's heat. job, pot boy, job! EDIT: from lordsofpain, btw.
Guest bob_barron Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 My prayers have been answered. Good to know Mr. Regal is alright
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Geez, Bob that was an aweful lot of spin for Regal, for someone that has the master of "The No Spin Zone" in his banner!
Guest bob_barron Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I wasn't spinning- I was just clearing Regal's name
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 it could have been Spike... What!? It could've been! Well Spike was the little toe rag who cheated to become European title. But the description of the match makes it sound like it was RVD To become European title? Is that an honest typo from Bob or is this an f'ed up Lilian or Michael Cole call he's referencing?
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Hmmm.... notice RVD was subbed for Goldust in the match...

Actually, JR was the one who said it. When Benoit beat RVD for the IC Belt this summer, JR said that he (Benoit) cheated to become the intercontinental title.
