Guest Paranoid Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I am a long suffering fan of Raven here and I'm just thinking how they can use the guy. He is definitely one of the most underutilized talents in the WWE right now. The guy is awesome on the stick, can work a decent match and has an interesting character. He's been relegated to Heat but he has looked very good and has been very entertaining. Lately, we've seen a change in Victoria. She's become a "psycho" or something. I'll admit she's a terrible actress but this could be a great way to bring Raven back into the picture. Victoria challenged Trish to a hardcore match and who knows hardcore better than Raven? Victoria's also been talking about her past and she's just acting weird, like Raven. Maybe Raven helps her win at Survivor Series and we finally see a new Flock. Raven, Victoria, throw in Saturn and there's a faction. The WWE really needs groups back. Make the new Flock try to recruit Jeff Hardy in their gang and you have a great storyline for a few months. Of course, the WWE will not do this. It just makes too much sense and they seem to hate Raven. *sigh*
ChrisMWaters Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Great use of Real Logic there in that post...and how anyone INTELLIGENT would book this as possibly happening. However, this is WWE...with Captain Senility...to be renamed Vince McMahon...in charge. Logic like that won't happen.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 The day Raven affiliates himself with the WWE women's division is the day that I stop watching WWE. Period.
Guest Paranoid Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 Being a Raven fan I kind of agree with you, but while thinking out that liitle scenario, I realized that Raven doesn't have much of a choice right now and that it might actually help the women's division also. But I really wouldn't mind Stacy getting an Even Flow!
Guest BifEverchad Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 The day Raven affiliates himself with the WWE women's division is the day that I stop watching WWE. Period. Well, it sounds like a good idea to me. It makes sense at least, and its better than having him picking his nose on HeAT... *continues to pray for a Flock*
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 But I really wouldn't mind Stacy getting an Even Flow! I wouldn't either, but really, she's JHawk's woman, not mine Anyway, this is actually a pretty sound idea. As long as it doesn't lead to Raven only being on RAW to help Victoria and the women's division, I wouldn't mind a pairing of the two. Maybe it could help both of them get over or do something so that Vince and non-Flock fans will care.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 You know, I think I know why Vince McMahon is so against having Raven get a big push, besides that Raven is from ECW... McMahon HAD him before...when he was Johnny Polo...and didn't do anything major with him...thinking he'd get better over as a manager. He's upset that Raven got over better with his dark, brooding character rather than the enthusiastic manager.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted November 10, 2002 Report Posted November 10, 2002 I don't expect the WWE to ever do anything with Raven. He debuted, what, 2 years ago? Feuded with Lawler for a little while? Had a few short hardcore title reigns? The guy's a multi-year veteran of the sport, and he's never gotten past the absolute lowest places on the totem pole in Vince's company. His angles are always dropped, and he rarely wrestles. He's out of shape, and I've never actually seen him in a good WWE match. Raven's done, folks. Sad but true.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Make the new Flock try to recruit Jeff Hardy in their gang and you have a great storyline for a few months. Anything that involves Jeff Hardy getting a push gets the thumbs down from me.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 he could be in the same shape as the Island Boys for all I care, I want Raven pushed, and I want him pushed 2 FUCKING YEARS AGO!!! Ahem. Sorry...
Guest razazteca Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Does anybody else think that Raven's big Master Piece secret is that he watches the show The Tribe
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 I think he'll announce that he will be a trainer on TE4 to make Tough Enough his new personal playground. . . . . . Quote the Raven Nevermore! But seriously, if Raven even has 25% creative influence over this "masterpiece" it should be better than 85% of what is thrown on RAW each week. The odds of that happening = 0%!
Guest evenflowDDT Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Does anybody else think that Raven's big Master Piece secret is that he watches the show The Tribe I don't get it. What's "The Tribe"?
Guest razazteca Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 its one of those teen shows that is on the Encore/Stars channel I think it is an AUSSIE show or from New Zealand or from Europe. The characters have hair and face paint style very similiar to Raven. Tribe Fan Site more sites
Guest benoitrules2000 Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 Bifeverchad, That HHH thing is the greatest fucking sig ever!!! I nearly had a heart attack from laughter!!! Oh, and I like the flock idea but doesn't it go against the smark principle of how much we hate them recycling storylines! They'll only have it watered down even more than it was in wcw and it'll die.
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted November 11, 2002 Report Posted November 11, 2002 The return of the Flock. Raven is doing absolutely nothing. As someone mentioned before, Victoria can be the psycho bitch--- first time a woman is in the Flock, but everyone needs a woman these days. Saturn and Kanyon are doing nothing when they come back from their injuries, so there's a tag team sort of like The Eliminators. Stick someone else in there like Jeff Hardy or Kidman and you've got a great stable. Who would all be squashed by Big Show chokeslams
