Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Okay, there's 6 possible guys that could walk out of the Survivor Series as the World Champion. Now, I was just thinking of who each one could face if they won the World Title, and here's the list: HHH: Could face RVD, Kane, Booker T, or HBK. Jericho: See HHH. RVD: Could face HHH or Jericho. Kane: See RVD. HBK: See RVD. Booker T: See RVD. This just includes everyone involved in the Elimination Chamber. So, unless the WWE decided to have a face vs. face fued or a heel vs. heel fued, depending on who won the match, these are the possible fueds after the Survivor Series for whoever won it. Thoughts?
Guest papacita Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Not to be rude, but what's your point?
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 you know, after dropping his name, that just might be the clue that indicates booker wins the match. booker and steiner had watchable matches during the last days of wcw and it may be a way to integrate steiner into the fed by giving him a program w/ someone he is comfortable working with. it also allows hhh to go do his thing w/ hbk. unfortuantely, then you are left w/ rvd, jericho and kane doing jack and shit again. fuck it! i have to say turn rvd heel already, give HIM stacy and his testicles and let him run with it.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Not to be rude, but what's your point? There's no real point actually. It's more or less me just trying to figure out what the possible fueds after the Survivor Series would be. Oh, and I forgot Steiner.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 I'd be shocked if they put Booker over now, because they've gone out of their way to tell me he can win. Of course he did just have to job to HHH.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 ok, you can look at the job two ways... 1. booker was just returning the job to hhh from a few weeks back or 2. this foreshadows the winner of sur series, implying that whoever is staring at the ceiling on monday gets the heat back come ppv. the fed is known for both patterns so i think they go the 3rd pattern which is swerve... kane wins it all!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 SPOILER********** Kane returns his job tonight.
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 It's more or less me just trying to figure out what the possible fueds after the Survivor Series would be. Why Bother? Who the Hell would have Thought last month that Big Show would be Feuding with Brock for the Title? It will probably be Triple H Vs Jeff Hardy for the Raw Title Next Month. Or even worst, Triple H drops the Title to Kane and Triple H moves back over to Smackdown to feud with Brock and kill off the Magnificent Six.
Guest papacita Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Not to be rude, but what's your point? There's no real point actually. It's more or less me just trying to figure out what the possible fueds after the Survivor Series would be. Oh, and I forgot Steiner. Makes sense. Anyway, if Steiner comes to Raw, then yeah it'd make a lot of sense if Booker went over and went on to feud with him, with Scott coming in to avenge the title loss from the last Nitro. I think HBK will be eliminated early on and come back late in the match to cost HHH the title, so their feud will likely continue. I'm not sure what they'll do with Jericho and the rest though.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 ......oh well fuck!!!! that just screws up my ENTIRE thought process. goddammit. leave it to the fed to fuck everything up by giving us a bonus match and distortng my internal wrestling logic clock.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 It's like a mad scramble for HHH to go over everyone in the match just so we know that no matter what happens he's the best.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Leave it to them to force us to have to try to figure out who will win and why instead of making it perfectly clear by having a reputation of doing the wrong or illogical thing. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 and i think you made a perfect point kotz! why do we think of wm 14 as a special moment? EVERYONE knew austin was going to win the title but wanted to experience that moment. if you are trying to tell a story to gather interest in your characters then the outcome should be pretty logical. give the fans a fucking payoff!!!! unfortunately, because of shitty booking and poor planning we are left to guess and 9/10 times are usually disappointed with the results.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Well SOMEONE needed to say it. Ever since they announced this bloody match, it's been all about who will win or who won't win because of certain criteria, leaving us to guess and throw so many scenarios out that Bps even wrote an article using their own logic, and I'll bet that even that logic, which produces a perfectly acceptable winner in RVD, ends up being thrown out the window on Sunday. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 I doubt they know who's going to win yet.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 That's why I said the logic would be thrown out on Sunday. They'll figure out who wins about three hours before the show. Yet another problem of theirs rears its ugly head. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 I remain confident that HHH isn't winning. I know HBK can't...so as long as Kane doesn't I can't complain. In a perfect world Booker or RVD win, so a face can actually go over for a change.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 but do you really ahve enough confidence in wwe to put the belt on rvd or booker? i want it to happen too but their mindset points to an hbk or kane win.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 You know what, fellows? Even if the right person wins ("right" meaning someone I want, ie. Jericho, RVD, Booker), if the match is an aberration, I don't think I'll be that excited. Then again, it's hard not to get excited at that Sports Bar. I was screaming while watching Trips/Kane last month. Who knows? (I'll be pimping the old WWF title belt too, BAYBEE~!) Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Yes. Because it isn't a real title. Also 'Tis the season of crowning new champions. As a matter of fact...if Booker or RVD don't win now...they won't get another legit shot until next August. At least one of them is completely screwed anyway.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 i don't see it like that bps. as long as neither of them ends up in a hhh feud then they could be ok even if they lose that match. sure, we might get stuck with another rvd-jericho fued but that might provide me with an actual good match. the key is to avoid hhh.
Guest cabbageboy Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Ok guys, let's review. HHH beats Booker on Raw. Spoiler that BPS listed: Beats Kane tonight in the 10 man. Therefore, HHH will have one two matches in two days. I think that would indicate that he is going to job at the PPV. He who looks strong on TV shall job, so it is written so shall it be done. I mean HHH killing Booker, then Kane in one week and then beating all 5 men on PPV is just beyond any sense of overkill I can imagine.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 Let's not forget he beat RVD a few weeks ago on Raw for no particular reason too. And he's established that he can beat Jericho whenever he feels like it. That just leaves HBK, who HHH will beat at SS, but Shawn will use the sledge to knock HHH out. I've already gotten this far, the question is who is going to cover him?
Guest ISportsFan Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 That just leaves HBK, who HHH will beat at SS, but Shawn will use the sledge to knock HHH out. I've already gotten this far, the question is who is going to cover him? I think that obviously HHH, HBK, and a random face will be left at the end. HBK will lose and knock HHH out, and the end of he match will be the face covering HHH to win the title; this is done just to make sure nobody except HHH/HBK gets over. The question of which face is left: our choices are Kane, Booker T, and RVD. Booker T: Buried for the longest time despite being the most over on Raw, now to the point where he's no longer the most over on Raw. Not going to win unless he's the lame duck of the month. RVD: Was the most over on Raw, then became 2nd to Booker T, now is most over just because he's been buried less than Booker has been. He might win, but he'll also be a lame duck if he does. That leaves... Kane: The only face that is also a "hoss." He's our probable winner, but he won't win on his own merits. It'll be HBK's sledgehammer shot. Jason
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 BOOKER IS NOT MORE OVER THAN RVD The word Sucka and the spinaroonie are over. That's like saying Bubba is so over because the crowd wants tables.
Guest goodhelmet Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 ok, by that logic, the pointing fingers and rolling thunder are over, not rvd. dude, booker is over!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 I would buy that the letter R-V-D are over too. But then it must be conceded that said letters are more over than Booker's gimmicks since they sustain throughout the course of a match.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 If they'd let him do the Houston Hangover on a regular basis he'd be CRIZZAZY over. I mean, when he did it to Big Show? That was raw as hell, dude. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Brian Posted November 12, 2002 Report Posted November 12, 2002 If they gave him a string of high profile wins, or even just get some pinfalls he'd be over. He has zilch credibility right now.
