is he injured? if so, then that explains why i haven't heard anything from him.

what sucks is that o'haire should be the major player they are trying to make orton and bautista out to be.

Taker doesn't like him

I beleive he's the one who forgot to shake Droz's hand.

Also...a big man with that look...he didn't stand a chance with the locker room leader around.

OVW and dark matches for him

I think he tore an ab muscle a while back. He should be coming back soon, and might already be back in OVW for a rehab stint.

ok, thank you HF, for actually replying and KNOWING the answer to the question.

it is bps, but you didn't actually answer the question. as for AS, i expect nothing less than trolling from him anyway.

It matters not where OHaire is

He still is the man :)

I cannot defend him at all to anyone, but still is one of my favorites

Actually the proper way to say it would be "no MORE than trolling." :P

actually from AS, i expect NOTHING LESS THAN trolling. if he was actually contributing, and not trolling then, he would be doing MORE than just trolling.

Count me along the select few who like O'Haire. If WCW were still around, he'd no doubt be a main eventer, or at least getting the build for it by now. I remember Bischoff had said something before Fusient was to buy the company that O'Haire was one of the guys they were going to rejuvenate the company with. The kid's got a great look and untapped potential, but the good ol' boys in WWE aren't going to admit that. I believe he tore a groin muscle, which explains his recent absence, but I think he's good to come back to Heat, where he will no doubt be stuck for a while.

It strikes me as funny that with Batista growing his hair back, having that intense aura, etc., that his gimmick is something that they could have done with O'Haire right off the bat, but they opted to wait for the WWE homegrown product to sprout. Friggin' politics.

Interesting and apt comparison. Although I dare say that O'Haire's potential has not lived up to his current output. Still too green for my tastes. Doesn't move fast enough for the kind of intensity he exudes. But I guess you have to start somewhere.

That said, I hope they never bring back his old tag partner Jindrak. This guy brings nothing to the table. Stale, boring offense, boring look, no intensity... he makes Cena look like Austin.

And exactly what chance to live up to his potential has WWeee given O'haire?

i'm not his biggest fan, but you can't tell me they couldn't market him. He looks like fucking satan.

Well JR has no love for "big guys" if they aren't sluggish and have a full arsenel of boring power moves. JR has no time for big guys that can move and be agile and do moves that "dem damn lil folks" do..

and you nailed it right on the head!!! the newer breed are guys who can do amazing moves... brock/SSP, benjamin/450 splash, O'Haire/Swanton. i mean fuck!!!! i think the concern is that once these guys start pulling out the phat aerials then what does that make slugs like hhh look like?

O'Haire never really did anything for me in WCW. I guess he's above average and has a good look. Other then that I don't see much in him.

This goes back to the firm belief that the WWE should quit it with the short term fixes (NWO, Invasion, Steiner) and BUILD THINGS UP! The videos for Batista meant NOTHING because people had seen him as D-Von's whipping boy several weeks prior. Take a new guy, or someone who hasn't been around for a LONG TIME (meaning you don't keep Batista off TV for 2 weeks and assume everyone forgot him), give them a gimmick, and run with it. Make some videos similar to the ones Edge had upon his debut, where O'Haire is walking down the street, kicks someone's ass, etc. Make him this intense, tear your head off SOB. Proper build helps fan perception, and the WWE 99% of the time fails to realize that.

above average- hhh isn't even average at this stage

good look- better look than hhh. even when the mofo was on nitro, i just watched him fly and thought "my god that was impressive".

now, give him a manager or let him tear it up brock style and see how the fans respond to him

The problem with that is that when the guy finally appears and does a promo HHH will wander out and do his "boy you aren't good enough to be out here" promo and make everyone in the audience think the guy is a joke. He's gave that speech to RVD, Jericho and Booker just to name a few

Yes, but Alfdogg said NO more than trolling. That means he's not doing anything more than trolling, and thus nothing that would qualify as above trolling. "Nothing less" would mean that trolling is the lowest he goes, and that he can go higher.

Alright I really resent the Jindrak comment. Jindrak used to have moves of his own, not a finisher he lifted off a flying fruit who wears body paint. Jindrak could be a really dickish heel given the chance. He's just been injured since he basically went to WWE. Other than Sanders, I'd have to say he was the best. All O'Haire has is the evil man look. Of course he no longer even has that. He has a rastafarian hair style now. Jindrak's incredibly good look also has been ruined. O'Haire is O'verrated in short. All he can do is fly which more and more big guys are doing so it's nothing special anymore (hell even Undertaker can walk across the top rope), he can growl, and he can do a kneeling clothesline to the chest.

Touché.

To be fair, I would like to see someone like O'Haire to succeed. He has a good look and seems to give his all in the handful of matches I've seen (both in the WW_ and wCw). But from that "all", I've not seen anything distinctive or interesting, certainly not to the extent that many people seem to say he is. He does a lot of vanilla moves like armdrags and hiptosses that I see every week on Tough Enough... not exactly cutting edge. Sure it might be the WW_ reigning in his moveset or his matchflow, but I saw the same thing in wCw when he was allowed to go full-tilt, and I still wasn't impressed.

And not for nothing, but that Swanton he does looks like it never hits his opponent. It's just not a credible move if he's not going to make full contact. I like his current finisher, especially when he snaps it in after catching a cross-body block. I just wish he moved faster, had more fluidity to his offense, and really showed the intensity everyone claims he has.

Guess we need to make room on the shows before he can truly shine. Any suggestions on wHHHom to cut?

And sorry, TheGame2075, but Jindrak just doesn't float my boat. He's more boring to me than a thousand Justin Credibles. I don't care how he "used" to be, I only care about right now. And right now, he blows.

I agree his look is bad now. But he CAN move. At least what I saw. Man, they should cut him.... So he can rule in TNA! Whishfull thinking I guess.
