Final rating for Super Tuesday

WWE Super Tuesday finished with a 2.3 rating and a 3 share. While that rating isn't great, it is better than the show it replaced in the Tuesday 9PM ET timeslot (Haunted).

how funny is it that with little notice on a night where there is much competition (I sure as hell didn't watch it live with 24 on) and people have no history of watching wrestling it didn't even do one point less than Raw.

Isn't there a difference between network and cable ratings, though? So the numbers of viewers might actually be in favor of Super Tuesday.

As far as I know...

 

Yes and No.

 

No because it's still a rating based on % watched in the available market.

 

Yes because a lot more people get basic channels than cable ones.

Yes Cable and Network do have different scales because Network has more viewers.

 

However 2.3 rating on Network is still low.

Basically that number is low in terms of the overall networks, but good as far as UPN is concerned.

It's just a joke that I randomly thought up in about 10 seconds and I'm obviously kidding.

 

But realizing the shitty promotion and shitty matches for "Super Tuesday", no wonder it got a 2.3. It should of been a look back on Survivor Series History if anything. Not 30 second Big Show promos.

I thought 2.3 was pretty good. Reading around here, it seems the promotion for the event wasn't very good. I was expecting 1.something.

I'm really surprised it was that high. It was the lowest network rating in the time slot, but it's UPN, so that doesn't mean anything.

 

I was also expecting mid 1's. This thing had almost zero promotion. I was thinking before why even bother to have the event, if you're not going to promote it.

 

But a 2.3 is pretty good for a meaningless special like this, IMO. And it really is shocking when you compare that to Raw's 3.1 cable rating. As Papa Smurf would say, Amazing...simply amazing...
