Guest Nevermortal Posted November 16, 2002 Report Posted November 16, 2002 In a recent interview with Chris Yandek, Shawn Michaels stated that both he and Triple H were against the necrophilia angle from day one. He added that Triple H had no choice but to go along with it because "when Vince McMahon tells you to do something, you do it even if you dislike it." Credit: Chris Yandek & 1wrestling.com C'mon, if he was really THAT against it, don't you think he could've suggested something when he was giving Steph the D in the A?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 16, 2002 Report Posted November 16, 2002 This may have been one of HHH's things he did to prove to the boys that he's "not office". Like putting over HBK clean. You know, those things that only make sense to him. Putting over friends who aren't wrestlers and partaking in angles that only serve to kill the heat of another worker for no reason.
Guest BillyTheStud Posted November 16, 2002 Report Posted November 16, 2002 I dont know, Vince seemed really be in love with this angle so maybe even the Game-uh couldnt stop it.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 16, 2002 Report Posted November 16, 2002 Maybe he couldn't have stopped it, but he certainly could have passed it over to Jericho.
Guest snowfan Posted November 16, 2002 Report Posted November 16, 2002 Maybe he couldn't have stopped it, but he certainly could have passed it over to Jericho. hehe... he would have if he thought it wouldn't of pissed Vinny off I am sure.... Hey Chris-uh remember the last time-uh i helped get you over-uh? CJ: yeah I cleaned up dogshit Crips... Well have I got-uh an angle-uh for you....
Guest crandamaniac Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 HHH: Yeah-uh, that necrophilia storyline-uh was the best-uh! Random Important News Person: That angle sucked! HHH: Yeah-uh, it really sucked-uh!
Guest DJ Jeff Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Yeah right. The only reason HHH is saying this is because the angle wasn't a huge success. Had it been successful, then he would have said he was behind it. Good ol' HHH, always making up stories.
Guest Vyce Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I totally believe that HHH was against it. He has more common sense to go along with an angle such as that one. Oops, I should have used the [sarcasm][/sarcasm] tags on that one. The moral of the story: No matter what, HHH will ALWAYS try and find a way to make himself look good. "No-uh, really! I was against it from the start-uh!"
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Next we'll find out that HHH really hates being the focal point of RAW and he hates having to hold everyone down to keep it that way..he just does it because Vince tells him too..
Guest CanadianChick Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Guess he just doesn't want to get blamed for failure. If it succeeded, I don't think that he would of been against it.
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Bullshit. HHH had the stroke to have that angle nixed if he really was offended by it. Thou Shalt Not Lie is apparently missing from HBK's list of commandments.
Guest CanadianChick Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Thou Shalt Not Lie is apparently missing from HBK's list of commandments. That's because it isn't a commandment
Guest dreamer420 Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Whatever. You understand what I mean.
Guest snowfan Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Thou Shalt Not Lie is apparently missing from HBK's list of commandments. That's because it isn't a commandment arguably it is if you look at the eighth... of course the Holy bible kid's ethics have always been flexible...
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 HHH is The Smartest Man In Wrestling. I doubt he was actually FOR this in his own mind. Necro != RATINGS. "when Vince McMahon tells you to do something, you do it even if you dislike it." Especially true if you're getting a big paycheck in a world without WCW.
Guest deadbeater Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 To be fair, the angle did nothing for Kane and Hurricane, and made HHH look very stupid, and I mean Red Rooster, "Molly has a fat ass" stupid. That's why in an attempt to save face he tried to play it off as a neo-Degeneration X "I do what I wanna do, and there's nothing you can do about it" bit.

Guest AndrewTS Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Bullshit. HHH had the stroke to have that angle nixed if he really was offended by it. Thou Shalt Not Lie is apparently missing from HBK's list of commandments. I think HBK was against it...HHH I don't know. However, I haven't seen or heard anything to the contrary from HBK.
Guest CheesalaIsGood Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Boy, I'd sure hate for one day something to surface that disproves the whole "HHH has too much stroke" theory. All your little smarky worlds would come crashing down. Cheese.
Guest snowfan Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 Boy, I'd sure hate for one day something to surface that disproves the whole "HHH has too much stroke" theory. All your little smarky worlds would come crashing down. Cheese. You're right... he is a poor victim of the machintions of Vince McMahon.... see Vince is suffering from idiot disease and he is the one forcing poor Aardvark to go on TV sometimes for more than a third of the show against his will.... Crips knows the fans are tiring of his John Holmes push but fears Bette Davis like retribution from "dad" if he shirks his Vince assigned "duty"..... VKM: a Canadian in the ME?!?! What did I say about Canadians in the ME?!!?! HGH: I am sorry Daddy-uh dearest-uh!
Guest jester Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I don't know if HHH had anything to do with the angle, whether he argued for it or against it, and I don't care. I do find it interesting that nobody liked this angle. Pretty soon the entire company will have denied liking it or supporting it. Which leads you to ask, if nobody wanted it, how did it happen? Did the angle just write itself?
Guest snowfan Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I don't know if HHH had anything to do with the angle, whether he argued for it or against it, and I don't care. Did the angle just write itself? It was HAL... I waited a long time until deciding whether or not Vince could thrive in a WCWless world.... That angle and the wedding have convinced me that NO he cannot.
Guest wwF1587 Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I assume this is bull. HHH saying he disliked it and was against it all the time is hard to believe. GOD has to look like all the time... which is why GOD will win at the Survivor Series... HHH is a lying sack of ass kissin crap.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I severely hope that Trips (Crips, "GOD", HGH, whatever you wanna call him) gets severely injured at the Elimination chamber match. Lose a limb...brain damage...wait, he's had that second one for a good while now.
Guest Nevermortal Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I hope he tears his quad so we can officially rename the match to "The Quadricep Chamber"
Guest saturnmark4life Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 'thou shalt not covert thy neighbour's heat'
Guest drunkenscarredangel Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 would it be too much to ask of him to tear both quads?
Guest snowfan Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 would it be too much to ask of him to tear both[i quads? then he'd try to show "how intense-uh I am-uh" he was by limping through the injury... if it balanced out he'd dope up on PK and be even slower meaning he'd take up even more airtime...
Guest FeArHaVoC Posted November 17, 2002 Report Posted November 17, 2002 I believe Shawn was against it, but I also believe he through Triple H's name in there just to protect his "Little Buddy." Mr. "I don't give a Crap what you think, I'll do what I want, when I want," Triple "shoot comment" H was all for it.
