WWE is trying to turn Brock face, and with Brock injured it looks like they might be forced to put the strap on Big Joke. Well has anyone thought of this yet?

Heyman is so upset at Brock for not taking his advice that he tells the ref to stop the match against Brock's wishes and screws him out the title.

Instant face turn for Brock, and he doesn't have the title so he can heel up, and come back as a mega face and destroy Show for the title.

...uh...

But that would put the title on Show...

Yeah, there's a serious flaw with this plan. I'd get a kick out of it if it were anyont but Show.

Mega Flaw 2: Brock doesn't have an interesting enough character to be a mega face.

I kinda like the idea of Brock as a face, but he's so damn scarey looking I think it'll be hard to pull off right.

Actually, it's the exact opposite, in my opinion. Looking at brock, I don't find him scary at all. Funny looking, maybe, but not scary.

Heyman throwing in the towel would be very interesting. Then Brock can come back and start putting the chickenwing on everyone.

Brock is already getting over...because of the look...

I like the idea of Brock getting screwed by Heyman...Brock never cleanly loses...They could just have Heyman throw in the towel...Brock awakens...Chases after Paul...Big Show steals the title from Brock...Heyman gets captured...Steiner shows up from Heyman's locker room (he made a press conference early in the night) he has a confrotation with Lesnar...Attacks him...leaves him for dead...Walks away with Heyman.

They could work in the bear hug spot where Big Show crushes Brocks ribs and Heyman throws in the towel because Brock won't tap or pass out or whatever. That would work since it goes back to Brock beating Hogan.

I must warn you, I drive like a madman, and I live VERY close to Manhattan. If they work in a bearhug, I will be the guy plowing through the building and into the ring in his car.

Brock's Borehug is quite possibly my least favorite spot in the WWF today, and Big Show would find a way to make the move look even LAZIER than it already does.

However, Unlike The Borehug, which almost no contact is made bewteen the two guys, Show's complex layers of fat will at least make it look like pressure is applied.

The bearhug is believable because so much of Brock's work is on the back...

heaven forfend that he actually have a moveset with some psychology....

when is Kurt gonna start working on the lower leg in the course of a match again???

It is just smart for the match to go like that because it works every thing in. The only bad part with it - as everyone else has said - is it is with the big show.

No it is NOT because you can fit Spike Dudley between Brock's arms and the victim. How is that believable? And it lasts F O R E V E R. Normal bearhus are evil heel hits the bearhug, fans clap, viruous face escapes and the whole mess is over in a minute. The Borehug can go on for four minutes, and then he starts laying down! For Christ sakes, give the man a Texas Cloaverleaf or something and pimp it as effecting the lower back. There has to be SOMETHING more visually appealing than that God Damned move that he can use.

I think he cinches it in well...

sometimes less is more...

Once again, I go back to the worst Borehug Offender: The Cena match. Look at that move(Don't worry you have Three or four minutes to annylize it) and tell me you couldn't fit a small child in between them.

I've been thinking that Heyman might just possibly screw Lesnar out of the WWE Title, since Lesnar wouldn't listen to him. Damn, that would mean that the Big Show would be the new WWE Champion. :(

Yeah, that's the general gist of the thread. Now, would you like to add something to that?

look at the anglelock and tell me it is taut at all...

suspension of disbelief is a key to being able to enjoy 75% of the work...

it is true Brock could cinch it in tighter, but it is hardly true it is the most horrid thing going...(Henry's being far worse)

Errrrrrr....

It would suck seeing the Big Show as the WWE Champion.

What's the big deal with the Bearhug being boring. People, its ONE move. Get over it. Its not like most of Brock's offensive is restholds that are too loose.

When you do seven minute matches with four minute bearhugs, it sure as fuck is the majority of his offense (For the match, obviously)

When he's crouching, it works. Don't ask me what posseses him to stand up, but whatever.

It's still not as obvious as the Bearhug, because it's a smaller body part.

I can see them doing some kind of screwjob finish to either the Defication Chamber or the Lesnar/Show match, because it's been five years since you-know-what, and WWE believes in repeating what worked before. I don't know why they believe this, since every recycled angle always tanks (WWE edition of the NWO, anyone?), but believe it they do.

Why must you be so negative because of one match? Its not like it was important or anything, it was a freakin' squash against freakin' John Cena. He's actaully coming along quite good, and sorry, but you can't really dispute that if you don't even watch Smackdown anymore.

He was doing 4 minute bearhugs on the house show circuit with the Big Show!
