Guest EricMM Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I mean listen: People like the Radicalz and Y2J were leaving WCW in a flood because of backstage politics ruining the show, with old fogies who could rarely work held titles, where the midcard carried the shows despite being paid less, and everything else? I'm getting the feeling that WWF just got lucky with 3:16 and was always just as bad, and certainly HHH learned well from Nash, Hogan, and Hall...
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 WWE was putting out a shitty product in 98 and 99 too...but Austin drew in spite of it. 2000 was an enigma because they pushed the actual workers for a change...and it worked. Now is just a joke.
Guest Paranoid Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 And that's a bad thing? I loved WCW up until the last year or so.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Oh yeah? Then what happened? ... ... oh right I'd say that's a bad thing.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 The only difference is that in this case, the wrestlers have nowhere to jump to.
Guest alfdogg Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 It's different in that I enjoyed WCW MORE than the shit we have now.
Guest razazteca Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 well at least they (WWE) is not spitting of the credibility of the Japanese wrestlers.....oh wait a minute.
Guest EricMM Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 well at least they (WWE) is not spitting of the credibility of the Japanese wrestlers.....oh wait a minute. Absolutely. I totally question Scott's motivation on TE. Maybe he can be the next Funa... I mean the next Taji... I mean the next Taka... Shit.
Guest razazteca Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Shinobi's Back! Scott can lose his 1st match by a bottle of Jose Cuervo
Guest ViciousFish Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Is it just me or did Bischoff turn Raw into WCW just before it tanked but without cruiserweights? I mean, I thought everything was horrible, especially the focus on has beens who can barely carry their bags let alone a match? I mean he's brought back the WCW title, got rid of everything WWE, and even added a gimmick match that's based on a WCW idea. Maybe it wasn't just Bret Hart who had a stroke, but Vince as well.

Bish doesn't have any creative pull, the man gets dressed in the same room as the wrestlers. If you want to place blame put it on Vince.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 They might as well change RAW to Nitro and Smackdown to Thunder to complete the change. Where's Schiavone at?
Guest Trivia247 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 in shape the product is... the basic difference of WCW and WWE as it currently is... IS that the WCW at the very least made a big deal of their cruiserweight division. While its been 3-4 Months since the Cruiserweight belt changed hands, or that the cruiserweight champion even competed in a match weekly more than a handful of matches in a 4 month space.
Guest AndrewTS Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 The only difference is that in this case, the wrestlers have nowhere to jump to. That and one of our champions is fairly young (Big Show), and the other is (still) a great wrestler--even if he can't work a full schedule. Other than that...no difference.
