I need ratings info for an oral presentation I'm doing on the decline of WWE.

 

What was the date of the 3.1 Raw?

 

What was the highest rating ever for Raw, and what was the date of the show?

www.otherarena.com....and off the top of my head, it was HBK as the ref with Austin, Vince, Rock vs. Shane, Taker, HHH in Orlando or something in June of 99. Got like a 8.0 something.

i believe a austin vs taker title match back in '99 got an 8.6 rating but that was in the overrun.

May 6th 2002. That's the dat that RAW started to decisively slip in the ratings. Anyone remember what was going on at that time?

If you are going to do such a presentation, get some actual financial data and don't just go with the "ratings ~ success" myth that gets bandied about so much on the internet. See if you can find quarterly and yearly WWF reports, they are much more telling information.

I believe Trips was still on Smackdown at that point. It was the episode where Hogan chased after Taker on his motorcycle, but it stalled, and Flair turned heel to launch another Austin v. evil owner angle.
