WWE conference call,

Linda McMahon confirmed today at a conference call that WWE has been in constant discussions with Steve Austin since in the infamous walk-out. She worded it as if it were just one friend calling another, but to this point WWE has never acknowledged contacting him at all. Many assume that even if the two sides haven't been talking regularly, when this year's WrestleMania rolls around both sides will be wanting to come to some kind of terms.

Other conference call notes:

- Asked if HHH had influence over creative writing due to his relationship with Stephanie McMahon. Linda claimed it was a new relationship (they've been dating for the better part of a year now) and he is a big superstar, but does not get booking privelages just for dating Stephanie.

- Put over Scott Steiner coming to the company and feels it should be something that will help WWE.

- Put over Shawn Michaels returning to the squared circle despite the injury risk.

- Claimed The Rock would be back on WWE television by early Spring

Yeah, sure

Only for a few weeks or a month maybe as far as ratings are concerned. When his reactions start to lose fire, WWE would have signed him for nothing because he isn't good in the ring like he used to be, is injury prone, and caused problems in WCW with his attitude.

Only to leave again for another movie, possibly.

I think Rock should just stay the hell away from WWE. People are getting sick of his 2 month "cameos" (as refrenced at Summerslam) and I'd take a career in Hollywood over trying to bail out the Titanic.

If the Rock returns, wins the title in his first match, and only stays for two months again, I will be seriously pissed off.

Better part of a year?

yeah...I guess over two years would in fact be the better part of a year.

It's funny that they were dating during Tough Enough 1 and Stephanie acknowledged it then.

It's even funnier when WWE's own programming shows their figure head out to be a FUCKING liar.

She's obviously trying to hide what's really going down.

You'd think that they would learn by know...every time Steph, Vince, Linda or HHH give an interview and someone asks the same question...that people are onto it.

I think they should change the wording in the last part of that sentance around to make it more accurate.

"he is a big superstar just for dating Stephanie."

I'd say having an entire 2 hours of T.V. time each week devoted to you could constitute you as a star, but I see your point.

Now...having two hours of TV dedicated to you and having those shows NOT decrease in ratings every week, and be outdrawn by the opening of a circuit city would constitute being a big star.

The fact is, HHH is a valuble performer. He just needs to know that he's supporting cast. When he's the focus, ratings bad. When he's just a foil for The Rock, ratings good.

RVD is Morris, and he's Jerome, biatch!

Crips is incapable of equaling out his potential future worth with his known detriments. He has a couple of similarities to "dad-uh" in that his ego refuses him to be happy working within his limits. Aardvark is convinced that not only is he as big a draw as Austin, Pebble, and the potential draw of any of several guys ready for the next level but that he is the "best-uh". He is exerting massive political influence due to a relationship that cannot be called anything but unethical if it were in any other business.

I cannot see him accepting his role gracefully and as such he needs dropped.

Won't happen because Big Steph enjoys the HGH roided meat missile and evidently Vinny enjoys her enjoying it, but there you have it. If Nasabeak prime would enjoy and thrive in his foil position I would be the first to agree, but his ego cannot allow that so he is a pox. Vinny beter enjoy Big Steph enjoying it to the tune of happily absorbing bankruptcy because RAW is HGH will kill WWE if Vinny doesn't end the crap.
