Guest Kamui Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Here's my questions: -What do you THINK the Signature Match (i.e. Rock-Hogan), the RAW World Heavyweight Title Match, and the Smackdown WWE Title Matches will be? -What would you WANT the Signature Match, the RAW World Heavyweight Title Match, and the Smackdown WWE Title Match to be? My personal predictions: Signature Match- If HHH is involved, then he'll make himself go over Rocky to "end their years-old feud" (bah.). If he isn't involved, then we'll either get Austin-Hogan or Rock-Hogan II. RAW World Heavyweight Title Match- If HHH is in this match and not the Signature One, then HHH will defend the title against his Clique body Kevin Nash. If HHH isn't in this match, then RVD vs. Jericho? I don't know, everyone else on RAW looks like shit other than God, so they're screwed here. Smackdown WWE Title Match- Definitley Brock vs. Angle. If they don't do that match at WM, they're fucking morons. What I would want to see: Signature Match- Rock-Austin II, but it ain't gonna happen. RAW World Heavyweight Title Match: RVD-Jericho, and that could happen if HHH involves himself in the Signature Match. Smackdown WWE Title Match- Brock-Angle, and it probably WILL happen. What do you guys think? -Duo
Guest Respect The 'Taker Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Trippers convinces Vince that he should be in the main event for Wrestlemania again. However, if Vince goes TOTALLY insane (which, judging from recent booking, he apparently isn't far off) expect the super-ultra-mega cool comeback of the Immortal Hulk Hogan to be the focal point, with Big Show as his opponent. Screw that, Vince YOU WANT RATINGS? Two words, mother fucker... Power Rangers = Ratings Illusion - Morphin' Goodness
Guest DJ Jeff Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 For the signature match, I'd love to see Austin vs. Hogan. However, I doubt we'll see that, unless Austin returns to the WWE, so I'm thinking we'll see Hogan vs. Vince. I'd like to see RVD vs. Jericho for the World Title, and I honestly think we'll see that. As for the WWE Title match, I'm thinking we'll see Lesnar vs. Angle, which is a match that I want to see.
Guest Brian Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 I don't want to see Rock/Austin because both guys should be putting someone over. I actually booked the whole fucking thing out in my head the other night with what they should do. WWE Championship Brock Lesnar © vs. Kurt Angle WCW Championship Booker T © vs. RVD The Rock vs. Chris Benoit HHH vs. HBK WWE Tag Team Championship Eddie and Chavo Guerrero © vs. Edge and a mystery partner (Christian, story being Edge loses his partner, Mysterio, at the hands of Knoble, and Jericho turns on Christian after they lose the RAW tag titles) Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho WWE Cruiserweight Championship Jaime Knoble vs. Rey Mysterio WCW Tag Team Championships Some heel team who won the belts vs. the Dudleys (at this point I could care less about RAW)
Guest bob_barron Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 By WCW do you mean the World belts Brian?? DJ Jeff- Why would you wany Austin v. Hogan if it would just be a short term boost for business and in the long run do nothing. It looks like they're pushing for Steiner v. HHH more then HHH v. HBK
Guest Brian Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 Yeah, I just refer to them like that.
Guest Brian Posted December 2, 2002 Report Posted December 2, 2002 It looks like they're pushing for Steiner v. HHH more then HHH v. HBK That's because they're blowing it by throwing away the blow-off to HHH/HBK by a) having the heel win the title and b) having it at a weak PPV. I don't really know what to do with Steiner at the moment, and he really was a bad pick-up. Actually, if the WWE wants to do my card right they would move Austin to SmackDown and the Rock to RAW so they could do Jericho/Rock and Austin/Benoit which make a lot of sense.

Guest midnight_burn Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 If he's healthy in time, i wouldn't be surprised to see Triple H vs Big Daddy Quad Tear as a showcase match for Wrestlemania.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 My Predictions: WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle World Championship: HHH vs. Scott Steiner (They are building to it. Whether Steiner will still be healthy then is another issue.) Big Match: Vince McMahon vs. Eric Bischoff What I want: WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle World Championship: HHH vs. Booker T (Booker wins the title. I know people would rather have RVD vs. Booker, HHH jobbing clean would still mean far more than that.) Big Match: The Rock vs. Chris Benoit
Guest godthedog Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 likely to happen: brock v. angle for the smackdown title, hhh v. hbk for the raw title (WATCH them stretch it out 4 more months) or brock v. trips for a unified title or something. like to happen: face angle v. heel rock for the smackdown title, and...you know, i don't really give a shit about who fights for the raw title, as long as it's not the last match.
