Triple-Juice's reaction at MSG...

Okay, when Triple-Juice first came back after his quad injury, he came back at MSG. When he came out, he received a MONSTER pop. Vince is all about what happens at MSG, so maybe part of his push comes from that massive pop.

 

Does that mean that his push was warranted more because of the pop, or just because he is fuckin Steph? I mean, it makes sense, I think.

I was there as well, and Bob is understating it- it was BEYOND LOUD.

 

I'm not defending him or anything, just saying, but if they gave Crash Holly the kind of hype for his return they gave HHH, I think he would have came pretty damn close to HHH's reaction too.

Well, when Trips came back, they were expecting 2000-2001 Triple H, not 2034 Triple H.

 

Had he been wrestling even remotely like he was before the injury, there'd be no such thing as a HHHater.

Hell, I was excited when HHH came back. I made U2 jokes, but I was still excited. 2 months later, my beloved Jericho was dead, and I saw the truth.

What do you mean? At least it beats sayin -uh? Just curious. And yes, I know that he was going to get a large push if he got a loud pop or not. It was basically a joke, to show how silly Vince is when it comes to MSG.

fascinating... anyway, both points are valid: the amount of hype he got for his comeback, and the in-ring quality he displayed before his injury are what caused the monster pop at msg. he was going to be the promotion's 2002 centrepoint no matter what, as austin and rock were already getting stale by that point. didn't work out too well for them after he started wrestling again instead of just posing and spitting, but hey.
