Guest ShooterJay Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 [email protected] Notes from the Raw tapings tonight in Austin regarding non-televised events: From Meltzer: Dark matches Michael Shane b Paul London Sean O'Haire b Bryan Danielson (American Dragon) Hest matches Test b Justin Credible Steven Richards b Johnny Stamboli Raven b ? D-Lo Brown & Christopher Nowinski b Maven & Al Snow After the show ended, HHH was on the mic and vowed that Michaels would not only lose the title, but go out on a stretcher at Armageddon. thanks to John Tovar So other than O'Haire, three of the four dark match guys are ROH competitors and graduates of the Texas Wrestling Academy when HBK owned it, that's really cool. I wonder, since they signed Spanky, another HBK graduate, if they're re-evaluating them, since Dragon, Shane and Spanky were all originally released from developmental deals. Dragon is a smark darling, but his style is the farthest thing from WWE style there is, he's probably got more of a future in Japan (he's already worked some NJ tours I believe). Paul London is fucking incredible, I'm a huge fan of his. Michael Shane is the least spectacular of the TWA guys, but he's still a very solid worker and has the best shot at getting re-signed since he's HBK's cousin. On a related note, when are they gonna start up the Maven/Nowinski feud already?
Guest razazteca Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 nice of you to fix this preview I cannot wait to see the Velocity matches, did they last longer than 5 minutes? Please tell me that O'Haire vs Dragon is not a squash.
Guest buffybeast Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Ohaire and Dragon is a dark match. It won't make it to television.
Guest razazteca Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 damn it I got swerved~ I knew I should of gotten tickets to the San Antonio or San Angelo shows.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Yeah, because Sean O'Haire rules Stick your Cattle Mutilation up your arse
Guest razazteca Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 but American Dragon can bust a submission out of nowhere, counter the Cruel Intentions with Armbar move #353 then into Saturn Rings V2 into the Cattle Mutilation. O'Haire cannot stop Texas Vanilla Midgets I bet Rudy Boy Gonzalez could stretch out Sean for a few minutes.
Guest Mole Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 D-lo's a heel? Last time I watched Heat, D'Lo was a face. I don't understand why D'Lo isn't on Raw, along with Raven. Raw would be so much better, then having stupid 3MW, Test, Chris Harvard, or anyone who sucks.
Guest DerangedHermit Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 D-lo's a heel? Didn't you see Raw the last two weeks? Last week, he was in the face locker room. This week, he was in the heel locker room. That's what I'm guessing.
Guest deadbeater Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Maybe D'Lo took a wrong turn at the State Capitol.
Guest D'Lo White Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 D'Lo and Nowinski could be a great team. D'Lo could grow his hair out and get a perm. He's has a degree in Accounting, so he can act all smart like Nowinski. The Raven/? match should be good. I hear ? has a great move set.
Guest TheArchiteck Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 "?" is actually a name? I figured it was someone they didn't have no idea it was. Unless your being sarcastic.....
Guest dreamer420 Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 "?" is actually a name? I figured it was someone they didn't have no idea it was. Unless your being sarcastic..... I really hope you are joking!
Guest buffybeast Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 D'Lo could grow his hair out and get a perm. He's has a degree in Accounting, so he can act all smart like Nowinski. Wait a minute. Black people cannot get a curly perm like white folks. D'lo would have to get a jeri curl and that would NOT be cute.
Guest D'Lo White Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 D'Lo with a jeri curl may be what he needs to get a push. He could get with Stephanie and come to the ring to "Superfreak" by the great Rick James.
Guest Phoenix Fury Legdrop Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 ?? = Texas indy worker Mike Foxx, who's a part of the group getting dark tryouts this week.
Guest razazteca Posted December 4, 2002 Report Posted December 4, 2002 Mike Fox has worked the Dallas area for at least the past 2 years and did work for the indy which Rudy Gonzales promotes, Fox has been champion for both feds, he has done some great heel work in the Dallas region. Mike Fox has great potential as a heel, he actually has good mic skills.
