Guest cynicalprofit Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 I mean he does, video wise, but how about setting up a few foreign leagues? It would help the talent out, cause if you cant headline in the USA, maybe you could in Austrila, it would alow them to scout internationally, which would be great for fans, it would help expose their product to more of the world by having a more excesible prodcut to a direct market, because raw is mainly a usa thing thats picked up by other countries, and the most important thing, atleast to vince, it could make them more money.
Guest buffybeast Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 This concept would prove to be too costly. The WWE would be better off making access to its shows easier for international markets and having more tours.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 it's a nice thought, but as buffybeast said would be very costly to establish. i think we will see a huge abundance of foreign tours this coming year, they always go crazy on the international front when domestic business is down. a british, german, or australian (note spelling) ppv has been touted around for a few years now, with domestic business this crappy it could well happen in 2003. but as for starting up entirely separate offices abroad, i just don't see the advantages. it would just dilute the available talent to a higher degree than the roster split already has.
Guest razazteca Posted December 3, 2002 Report Posted December 3, 2002 Vince probably thinks going to Canada and Puerto Rico is an international tour. They speak forgein languages! If the PPV Rebillion and Global Warning shows are profitable then why not go out to do the Manifest Destiny of wrestling and conquer the World. They all must suffer the wrath of a one man main event.
